Fort Mill, SC – (Oct. 5, 2011) – When an off-road racer drives to work, he doesn’t sit in morning rush hour, he doesn’t get stuck at red lights and he never has to find a new route when road conditions get rough. This October, General Tire will be releasing two new commercials starring seven-time off-road champion Carl Renezeder hard at work.
The fast-paced, action-based commercial features Renezeder in his short-course race truck fitted with General’s Grabber competition tire – the ultimate off-road, high-performance tire, tested in some of the world’s most treacherous conditions and most rigorous terrain. The second commercial demonstrates that off-road racers also demand performance for their street trucks, and that the Grabber is the optimum choice for on- and off-road conditions. As the dramatic 30-second spots come to a close, the narrator ends with, “General Tire. Anywhere is possible.”
The spots were produced by Mad Media of Oceanside, Calif., and were filmed on the highway and desert terrain of California’s Inland Empire. Slated to be released in October on CBS, SPEED and Versus, the adrenaline-pumping spots aren’t for the faint of heart.
