Metalcloak Adds TJ/LJ to its List of Game Changing Suspension OfferingsRancho Cordova, CA   October 2, 2012  After the critical acclaim for the JK “Game Changer” Suspension System featuring the revolutionary 6Pak(TM) Shocks (Patent Pending #61/520,240) and Duroflex(TM) Joints (Patent Pending #13/368,570), many wondered what Metalcloak would come out with next. The answer: A Game Changer for the TJ.

Dubbed the “Long Travel” Suspension system, their new 3.5″ Short Arm kit, utilizes their 12″ travel 6Pak Shocks at both the front and rear of the rig giving you more travel than any other production short arm kit. Metalcoak’s unique-looking Dual Rate Coils are designed to provide a much longer free length, retaining the coils in the buckets at full droop. At ride-height the functional portion of the coil is shorter, providing better stability and greater driver confidence. Add to that Solid Chromoly front and rear track bars and Metalcloak’s Duroflex Joints, the TJ/LJ kit promises the best possible on and off road quality.

As their website states, a TJ with the 3.5″ Long Travel Short Arm kit installed is “a Jeep even your wife will love to drive.” We’re not sure if that’s a good or bad thing. Note: This kit is also available in a “lite” version that features Old Man Emu Nitrocharger Sport shocks in place of the 6Paks.  For more information reference: MetalCloak, 916-631-8071, www.MetalCloak.com
