Professional Rock Crawling Friday and Saturday Nights April 19th and 20th starting at 7pm Eastern Time

Rock Professional Rock Crawling Eastern Season Opener this Weekend in Dayton, TNPLACERVILLE, CA   APRIL 17, 2013:  This weekend brings Professional Rock Crawling back to the most well known 4×4 rock crawling wall in the Eastern Series: just outside Dayton Tennessee at 35 Pitts Gap Road, Graysville, TN. The event is very spectator and family friendly with the professional drivers available to sign autographs and throw gifts into the crowd in midst of the competition.  “We love coming to Dayton to kick off the Eastern Pro Rock Crawling Series, the crowd here is amazing and a ton of fun,” said Rich Klein, President and founder of W.E. Rock Events. “We really appreciate everyone that comes out to cheer on the competitors.  They work hard all year to put on a show, and they really bring the show to Dayton!”

Poker Run Friday April 26th, Racing Saturday April 27th

Rocky Point 220x170 Arizona Desert Racing Association Headed to Rocky Point for Thunder on the Beach Shootout RaceGILBERT, AZ    APRIL 8, 2013:  The Arizona Desert Racing Association continues it’s second season with the Thunder on the Beach Shootout desert race in Rocky Point Mexico on April 26th and 27th.  Friday’s Poker Run is open to anyone from 4-6pm for only $10 per vehicle.  Saturday’s race will be broken down into Sportsman classes in the morning at 9am, and Pro classes in the afternoon at 1pm.  “The Sand Beach Resort area in Rocky Point is incredible.  I have been down there a couple of times setting up the course and it is going to be really cool,” said Tim Jones, President of the Arizona Desert Racing Association.  “It will be a 20 mile loop of fast sections with fun twists including a sand hill and a short course track in the infield.” Read More→

Jason Scherer Stampede 3 220x146 Jason Scherer WINS Ultra4 Stampede Race at Home Track in Sacramento DANVILLE, CA   APRIL 8, 2013   Jason Scherer wins the first race in the Ultra4 Trail Gear Western Series, the MetalCloak NorCal Stampede, at Prairie City SVRA on Saturday April 6th.   After finishing first in his pre-qualification heat race on Friday, he ran home to Danville, CA to replace and rebuild his differential before the main race on Saturday.  Showing up just hours before the green flag, he started in the second row of the main and by the first lap was already leading the race putting on a very impressive show for the crowd that included many of his family and friends.  “I am so excited to win this race!  Not only is it a win for me and my core sponsors including Rubicon Express, Nitto Tires and PSC Steering, but also to be able to share it with all my family and friends at a local to home track is awesome!” said Jason Scherer, driver of the Rubicon Express #76 car at the awards ceremony on Saturday evening.  “The track was a lot of fun and I am really excited to be able to come back to this new venue.  Not only is it great racing, but it is nice to be close to home!”

Dirt Riot 4.13 169x220 Dirt Riot Continues Central Series Endurance 4x4 Racing This Weekend at the Coppermines OffRoad ParkPLACERVILLE, CA   APRIL 10, 2013:  The Dirt Riot Central Series continues to draw professional racers, local 4×4 club members and UTV racers to form a 2013 series that is already heavily contested in all classes this year.  This weekend, the 2013 Dirt Riot Central Series second of three races will be at Coppermines Offroad Park on Saturday April 13th, with racing starting at 9am.  “We are excited to be back at the Coppermines Park, it always has so much to offer for the racers and spectators that we really enjoy our time there.  There was some strong weather at the beginning of the week which helped water down the track, and since it has improved to what should be mid-70’s and clear by the weekend,” said Rich Klein, President and founder of W.E. Rock history, hosting a two day event comprised of the Western Series Professional Rock Crawling on Saturday March 16th and the National Dirt Riot 4×4 Endurance Racing series kicking off its Southwest Region races on Sunday March 17th brought to you by 4 Wheelers Supply in Phoenix, Arizona.  This weekends events are very spectator friendly at the Thompson’s Ranch just outside of Congress, Arizona, only 5 miles down a dirt road that is better maintained than in years’ past and suitable for small cars.  “The terrain in Arizona is always amazing and the competitors love coming here.  We are back at the Thompson’s Ranch which is where we held our 2006 and 2007 Extreme Put-Up or Shut-Up Events, so this Saturdays Rock Crawl is going to be a lot of fun to watch with Pros coming from up to 14 hours away,” said Rich Klein, President and founder of W.E. dirt riot bryan texas 2013 175 220x146 Dirt Riot Takes on Texas at First Central Series Endurance 4x4 RacePLACERVILLE, CA   MARCH 11, 2013:  Dirt Riot’s Central Series started off with a bang at the Brazos Valley Off-Road Ranch just outside of College Station, Texas, the home of Texas A&M and Johnny Football.  Levi Shirley, the winner of the Pro 4400 class, is starting the season out on the right foot to repeat last years Central Series and National Title Wins.  Spectators who came out to enjoy the full day of racing action got to watch UTV’s, stock 4×4 trail rigs and highly modified rock buggies battle the rocks and fast speed sections to see who could complete the most laps in a set amount of time.  “We love coming to Texas for the racing, the friends and camaraderie,” said Rich Klein, President and founder of W.E. Andrew McLaughlin 4493 KOH 220x146 LetzRoll Offroad Racing Ultra4 Finishes 2013 King of the Hammers and Three Every Man Challenge Cars Fight to the EndMESA, AZ   MARCH, 7 2013   With 4 cars on course between Friday’s 2013 Griffin King of the Hammers and Thursdays Smittybilt Every Man Challenge, LetzRoll Offroad race team was busy with every aspect of the race week.  Andrew McLaughlin, driver of Ultra4 #4493 and owner of LetzRoll Offroad, finished 18th at the esteemed 2013 Griffin King of the Hammers giving them an automatic entry into the 2014 race.  All three of the Smittybilt Everyman Challenge drivers didn’t make it to the finish line, but each have a story behind their hearty efforts including Alan Johnson #4511, Shawn Passmore #4669 and Matt Salyers #4634.  “There is no doubt it was a challenging week with all four cars racing, but we all pulled together as a team to help each other accomplish projects and get to the starting line,” said Andrew McLaughlin about the team he formed.  “The Saturday morning after the race was bittersweet.  We had just finished the hardest race ever and we had to pack up and leave.  When I looked around there wasn’t one person that didn’t have a smile on their face.  Everyone was happy and pumped about the whole experience.  It was a great ending to a great week.” Read More→
