Chicky Barton Ultra4 220x146 Chicky Barton Wins First ULTRA4 RaceHOT SPRINGS, AR – April 15th, 2014: Chicky Barton claimed his first ULTRA4 victory at last week’s GenRight ULTRA4s at Superlift Park race. With 44 registered drivers, the race was the largest 4WD Hardware Eastern Regional ULTRA4 race to date.  Barton, in his new independent front suspension (IFS) vehicle,qualifed fifth on Friday, and seemingly never let off the throttle the entire race, managing to stay close to the front of the pack until taking the lead and never looking back.

Dirt Riot Moab 2013 220x146 Dirt Riot Long Drivers List for Big Saturday Race in Moab this Weekend at AreaBFEPLACERVILLE, CA   APRIL 14, 2014:  For the third year running, Dirt Riot will be at AreaBFE in Moab, UT on Big Saturday April 19th.  The pre-registered driver list confirms the day of racing will be spectacular.  Everyone that has wanted to race a 4×4 endurance race is welcome to come and participate starting with Tech and Registration on Fridaynight at AreaBFE, followed by Racing all day Saturday.  For UTV’s and Stock Trail class the only requirements are Solid Roof, Doors or Door Bars, 4 Point Harness, Two Fire Extinguishers and a DOT approved Helmet.  “The spectator areas for this race allows you to see all of the top bowl area plus you can look off into the lower sections,” said Rich Klein, President and founder of W.E.  Four Corners 4x4   CONSISTENCY KEY ELEMENT FOR DURANGO OFF ROAD RACING TEAMDURANGO, CO – Four Corners 4×4 traveled to Tucson, Arizona to compete in the second round of the Dirt Riot Endurance Racing Southwest Series at MC Motorsports Park on April 5th. In Dirt Riot Endurance Racing, teams compete on a 5-10 mile long circuit during an established time limit. Competitor finishing order is determined by the number of laps completed by each within the time limit. The 2006 Jeep Wrangler LJ piloted by Jason Kaminsky and Rick Jenkins of Four Corners 4×4 suffered late-race mechanical breakage causing the team to finish in second place. Read More→

ADS Presser 220x138 LetzRoll’s Andrew McLaughlin Takes First Place in Tucson Dirt Riot with ADS ShocksApril 8, 2014 – Tucson, AZ – Congratulations to Andrew McLaughlin and the LetzRoll Racing Team for their first place finish in the Dirt Riot Race Series in Tucson, AZ in their ADS shock equipped #4493 Ultra4 car.

McLaughlin started the race with eight other cars and maintained first place for the entire race averaging roughly 12 minutes per lap. The Tucson course is a tough course in which only three of the eight cars that started finished the race. Read More→

 Four Corners 4x4 Completes 2014 Every Man ChallengeDURANGO, CO – Jason Kaminsky and Richard Jenkins with Four Corners 4×4 recently returned from their participation in the Smittybilt Every Man Challenge Ultra4 Stock Class endurance race held on February 6th. The event took place at the Johnson Valley OHV Area in California’s Mojave Desert. After a random 6 draw started Kaminsky and Jenkins at the rear of the field in 22nd position, they maneuvered through the pack to finish 10th in an elapsed time of 8 hours 59 minutes. Due to the difficulty of the course, fewer than half of the racers completed the course in the allotted time limit of ten hours. Declared as the hardest one-day off road endurance race in the world, the course consisted of approximately 120 miles of high-speed desert segments across sand washes, washboard roads, dry lakebeds and 11 of the country’s most challenging rock crawling trails.
