 373 Healy Finds Redemption at Arkansas RCV ULTRA4 RaceAugust 17th, 2013 – Hot Springs, AR: The 4WD Hardware ULTRA4 Eastern Regional Series came to a finale last weekend  at the RCV ULTRA4Race at Superlift ORV Park in Hot Springs AR. 2010 King of the Hammers winner, Loren Healy started the race in the pole position after qualifying first on Friday and never looked back. Healy had not planned on racing in Arkansas, however, after experiencing DNFs in Indiana and Utah, he made the decision to make the trek to Arkansas. Read More→

Acerni Car 220x220 Acerni Repeats ULTRA4 Win at UKs 2013 King of The Valleys

WALTERS ARENA, WALES, UK, August 14th, 2013: More than 40 teams from nine countries competed last weekend in the 2nd annual King of The Valleys ULTRA4 race held at Walters Arena in Wales, UK. Going into the event, there was much speculation as to who would be declared this year’s King of The Valleys: Would it be a returning driver such as last year’s winner, Italian Pier Acerni, or perhaps a local racer familiar with the terrain such as UK’s Jim Marsden, or could it possibly be the American ULTRA4 driver on his first trip overseas, Levi Shirley? Ultimately, after three grueling days of competition that saw drivers navigating through winding technical rally roads normally reserved for WRC events, battling waste deep mud bogs and scaling extreme rock obstacles designed specifically for this event, it was the Italian driver, Pier Acerni, who retained his crown for another year. 362 220x146 First Ever ULTRA4 Win for EZ Rick MooneyhamTOOELE, UT July 16th, 2013: Driver “EZ” Rick Mooneyham is no stranger to the ULTRA4 podium.  Over the years, he’s been one of the most consistent top three finishers at the Griffin King of The Hammers Presented by Nitto Tire. However, despite all of his podium finishes, a first place trophy had proved elusive to Mooneyham; that is until last weekend’s American Rocksports Challenge held at Miller Motorsports Park in Tooele, UT where Mooneyham crushed the competition and claimed first place finishing nearly 45 seconds ahead of Shannon Campbell. 360 Campbell Racing Combines Efforts for ULTRA4 Badlands Win  ATTICA, IN, July 2nd 2013: More than 30 teams competed in the 2nd Annual ULTRA4 race held at Badlands Off-Road Park last Saturday as part of the Ultimate Motorsport Championship in Attica, IN. While the course layout was similar to last year, the dry and dusty conditions of 2012 were replaced with heavy rain and extensive mud.  Thousands of fans braved the wet and mucky conditions for a chance to see some of their favorite ULTRA4 drivers compete in a course that featured a newly created off road amphitheater and a technical rock quarry made even more punishing due to the slick conditions. Rock Pro Rock Crawling Series will be this weekend as part of the Ultimate Motorsports Championship (UMC) at the Badlands Off Road Park in Attica, Indiana.  The three day event will include two full days of extreme rock crawling action in the quarry at the south end of the park.  “The rock quarry at the Badland park has always been a drivers favorite.  There are so many different types of terrain in one area that it challenges even the best drivers,” said Rich Klein, President and founder of W.E. dirt riot gray rock 014 220x146 Fast Field of Racers at Dirt Riot Gray Rock ORVPLACERVILLE, CA   MAY 7, 2013:  The second Dirt Riot Southeast Series race was hosted at Gray Rock ORV outside of Birmingham, Alabama in a lush green and brown environment where the safety orange color of Bill Baird’s Ultra4 car stood out not only in color, but in speed, taking the win by a full lap.  Earlier in the day Mod Trail winner Tim Carter and Stock Trail winner Travis Wilson raced against a field of over a dozen.  “We had a great time here at Gray Rock!  Everyone was very helpful and the spectators were a lot of fun.  We were happy to run all the races earlier in the day to be able to have open wheeling in the afternoon,” said Rich Klein, President and founder of W.E.
