New Storage/Security Boxes from JeepBox

JeepBox Florence, AL - A new company on the block, JeepBox, has solved the problem of adequate weatherproof storage space in jeep-type vehicles with its line of aluminum storage chests and consoles designed for CJ's, YJ's, TJ's, Land Cruisers, Samurais and other similar vehicles.

Handcrafted from aluminum tread plate, JeepBox's design utilizes lockable paddle latches, hydraulic gas struts, and their patented insulation injection process which insure that JeepBox will not rust, leak, or rattle. All boxes are available in brite tread or black powder coat.

The massive Chest Box will hold luggage, camping gear, coolers, dive tanks, tools and all the spare parts that one could possibly need. It can be positioned to open from the front or rear of the backseat area and the dual latches provide accessibility from either side without having to open the tire carrier or tailgate. Its dimensions are 28"L x 16"H x 36"W for 1976-2000 CJ's, YJ's and TJ's.

For those that don't need quite as much storage space, a smaller Chest Box is also offered. This smaller box is designed for Samurais, but could be used in other vehicles to allow space between it and the front seat. Its dimensions are 22"L x 12"H x 30"W.

The Center Console models offer a convenient place to lock up a cell phone, glasses, cd's, books, winch control, camera, or other small items. The dimensions are 24"L x 15"H x 10"W for 1976-1990 CJ's & YJ's and any other vehicle with 10"-12" between bucket seats. Consoles for 1991-1995 YJ's with reclining bucket seats are 24"L x 15"H x 8"W. Land Cruiser and CJ5 console dimensions are 22"L x 9"H x 9 1/2"W.

The Rear Seat Box is tapered top to bottom to take advantage of all useable space behind the rear seat, and provides ample storage for tools, sports gear, equipment, books, and more. The center latch provides accessibility from either side without having to open the tire carrier or tailgate. Dimensions for the rear seat box are 33"L x 20"H for 1976-1995 CJ's & YJ's, and 35 1/2"L x 20"H for 1997-2000 TJ's.

Jack Lancaster, owner of JeepBox, said, "These boxes will fit in other similar vehicles, but the dimensions should definitely be verified before purchasing one of them under those circumstances." Lancaster also said that custom boxes could be built if none of the above boxes have the dimensions a customer needs.

Whether your ride is a commute to the office or school, or climbing the "Most Difficult" trail out there, JeepBox provides safe, secure storage to organize and protect all your valuables.
