ARB Introduces New Jeep Liberty KJ Bull Bar

Seattle, WA - A totally new concept in protection equipment design is evident in the latest bull bar release from ARB. The Liberty’s unique styling and sleek contours called for a fresh approach with regard to the design principles employed by ARB’s research & development team. The challenge has been met with a bar that not only meets the performance criteria associated with ARB products, but also complements and enhances the appearance of the vehicle.

Numerous practical features are incorporated into the design including Hi-Lift jacking points, auxiliary driving light mounts, twin CB aerial mounts, and a provision for the relocation of the factory OE fog lights – where applicable. The bar will accommodate Warn winch sizes up to the HS9500, but is also equally well suited to non-winch applications. Standard finish is a durable gray powder coat, which also serves as an excellent base for color matching to the vehicle if preferred.

ARB bull bars are renowned for their strength, and the new Jeep Liberty bar is no exception. A massively strong air bag compatible mounting system secures the bar to the vehicle, ensuring optimal frontal protection is provided.

Jeeps are renowned for their off-road ability but like most other 4WDs can run into traction difficulty when severe terrain is encountered. The solution is at hand, quite literally, via the fitment of ARB Air Lockers. Activated via dash-mounted switches, the Air Locker utilizes a 12-volt air compressor to deliver pneumatic pressure into the differential, which engages a positive locking mechanism. With both wheels directly tied to the rotation of the ring gear, the vehicle maintains maximum traction whenever the Air Locker is activated.

Available for front and rear differentials, owners of Air Locker equipped Liberties are able to approach harsh terrain in a safer, more controlled manner, as improved traction places less reliance on momentum.

Further product releases for the Jeep Liberty are planned for later this year, including an Old Man Emu fully integrated suspension system, which is currently in development.

These are just some of the products available for this popular new Jeep. For a complete list of applications and accessories, please contact us.
