Superlift Releases 5"-6" Knuckle-Style GM Lift System

SuperliftWest Monroe, LA - Owners of 1999-newer GM 1/2-ton pickups and 2000-current Tahoes, Yukons, Escalades and Suburbans can proudly call themselves Knuckleheads thanks to Superlifts new 5" to 6" F.I.T. series lift system, which comfortably accommodates up to a 35" tall tire. Superlift calls its design concept F.I.T.: Frame Integrated Technology. This new approach addresses all of the problems that plague other "knuckle lifts," plus it touts numerous new and unique performance-enhancing features.

The systems exceptional performance can be traced to four basic design features:

1) Superlifts new cast ductile-iron steering knuckles maintain ideal steering geometry; there is zero alignment-spec change throughout the full range of suspension travel.

2) The lower control arm/belly-pan consists of interlocking bracketry, laser-cut from .25"-thick steel, to create the strongest subframe on the market. Countersunk fasteners, used to stitch the belly-pan to the crossmembers, further enhance overall design rigidity.

3) The front differential is lowered 4", 1 full inch more than most systems to increase axle service life, yet the high-clearance crossmember design nets exceptional overall ground clearance.

Superlift4) New, progressive-rate travel-stops adjust to ensure the proper amount of front suspension compression travel, which is critical for optimum ride quality, handling and torsion bar life.

Overall, Superlift engineered this system to be clean and attractive. Beauty and simplicity also extend to quick, easy installation. The structural integrity of the front differential housing is maintainedno cutting of differential reinforcement webbing is required. Plus, the factory front driveshaft is retained. Four Superlift Superide shocks are includedgas front, hydraulic rearand Bilstein high-pressure monotube gas-charged shocks are available upgrades.

For the rear, Superlift offers three leveling solutions: tapered blocks, a block/add-a-leaf system, or replacement rear spring packs. Other options include: TruSpeed speed sensor recalibrator, front and rear multi-shocks, Torque-Max traction bars, Extreme Ring rear differential protector, Rail Wraps frame dress-up panels, and a stainless steel brushguard-style front skidplate that features the Superlift flame logo.
