Midstates Dirt Riot Series Comes to Close with Matt Moore as Pro 4400 4x4 Champion
Class Champions Include: Matt Moore, Tom Yash and Kenn Hite

BLACKFOOT, ID JULY 27, 2014: With five independent series across the country, the Midstates Dirt Riot Series came to a close last weekend in Sturgis, Kentucky. Bad Advice Racing Matt Moore climbed his way to the top of the series with attendance at all three events – 2nd at Chaos Offroad Park, 6th at Crandon International Off-Road Raceway and a 3rd place podium finish at Baird Motorsports Park. Matt Moore was driving the #4436 car, owned by co-driver Kim Matzen. Haulin’ Yash Racing Tom Yash took the series honors in the 4600 Pro 4x4 class, and the SuperMod class saw K&K Krawlin Krew Kenn Hite of Georgia and Jeremy Dickensen of Texas/Tennessee cross regular series boundaries two times each to take the top honors of 1st and 2nd respectfully.

Many other classes ran during the Dirt Riot race day, but as the rules state, only those who race in multiple series races, and treated it like a series, will be awarded trophies as such. “The Midstates series is still growing, with increased racer interest after every event,” said Rich Klein, President and founder of W.E. Rock Events. “All of the locations for racing are amazing, with lots of racing opportunities from the woods of the Chaos Offroad Park, to the history of Crandon International Raceway and the short course of Bill Bairds new track. Of course we would like to thank all the park owners and all the racers for another great year.”

The Southeast season also completed its final round last week. The Southwest, Mountain and Central series all have one more event to run before crowning champions. A National Dirt Riot Champion will also be awarded at the National Rampage September 26th in Bridgeport, Texas.
