MESA, ARIZONA MARCH 15, 2015: Bower Power Hour serves as a voice for the off-road industry, including events. The show allows for brand new events, like the BFGoodrich Tires 36 Hours of Uwharrie, to talk about what prospective participants might experience at the events as well as the work that goes on behind the scenes to get events ready. Bower Power Hour also features a weekly calendar that is packed with events to attend across the country so that viewers from all over can find off-road events near them.

This week’s Bower Power Hour guests are Scott Fields from BFGoodrich Tires’ 36 Hours of Uwharrie and Alexis Nelson of ORBA and Lat +Long Resource Group. Then Matt heads back out to the garage for Tech and Tools, and viewers share their Offroad Pets on Social Dirt. Scott talks about the origins of the 36 Hours event and goes into detail about the Uwharrie National Forest and training grounds itself. Then Alexis delivers some hard-hitting facts about the effects of businesses and land use, and how Offroaders can get involved in boosting the community. 30Pack Matt gave viewers an in depth lesson on 14-Bolts and the differences of a shaved 14-bolt, then Charlene shared some of our fan’s four-legged offroad companions on Social Dirt.

“It’s always fun to see what new events the offroad community comes up with, and hear how their ideas came to fruition,” said Charlene Bower, Host and Executive Producer. “Scott didn’t give away much information when it came to the challenges we will see at 36 Hours of Uwharrie, so it will still be a fun surprise for all of us competing! Alexis brought up some great points when it comes to keeping the offroad industry going even during off-seasons or periods of non-activity. It’s always important to be involved and active to help support the industry you love. Matt gave viewers a great lesson on not only the effectiveness of the 14-bolt, but how it benefits the off-road user, and it was great to be able to share some of our viewers’ pet for this week’s Social Dirt.”
