MESA, ARIZONA SEPTEMBER 15, 2015: With the release of the September 15th episode, Bower Power Hour has officially made it halfway through its second season, with plenty more amazing guests on this seasons list. We have a lot of plans for the upcoming seasons and are excited to take viewers and listeners to the offroad shows that we are attending during Season 3. We are always changing and improving Bower Power Hour to make it even better for our fans. As always, Charlene and Bower Power Hour are open to your ideas.
This week’s Bower Power Hour guests are rally racer Andrew Comrie-Picard, ORMHOF Board Member and Hall of Fame Member Frank DeAngelo, Crystal Crowder from Piston’s Wild Motorsports Club, and 30Pack Matt is in the garage with a Yukon Ring & Pinion with ARB Air Locker install to continue the front axle build for the Cragslisticon. Andrew Comrie-Picard brought a whole new side of off-road to the show as a Rallyer talking about inches around turns, fascinating technology and comparing rally racing to Baja racing. Frank DeAngelo told us all about the new award categories and this year’s ORMHOF inductees. Crystal Crowder touched on the forest fires ravaging the Pacific Northwest, the lack of fire breaks, and how we can use this information to our advantage when fighting for our trail systems. Then Matt heads back to the garage for a Yukon Gear and Axle Ring and Pinion install along with an ARB Air Locker diving into the technique of setting gears and using shims.
“It’s crazy to think that we are already halfway through Season 2 of Bower Power Hour! It seems like it was just the other day when I was thinking to myself: Offroaders really need a news show and a voice. Now we are cranking out show after show full of news and awesome guests,” said Charlene Bower, Host and Executive Producer. “Everyone is interesting, but I also get to learn new perspectives and this week’s insight from ACP on rally racing as an off-road sport was really intriguing. Exciting, Frank revealed a new set of Off-Road Motorsports Hall of Fame awards for Rising Stars in the Industry and very timely, Crystal shed some light on the importance that offroad trails play as fire breaks, especially with the amount of forest fires this year. Plus I spent time out in the garage with Matt while theCraigslisticon axle continues to get built, yes watch for my hand model at the end!”
