Now Bower Power Hour is delivering the stories of the everyday off-roader in the new Social Dirt segment that allows fans to tell their stories via social media, and highlights some of the best stories and all the pictures at the end of each episode of Bower Power Hour. Fans can participate in the new segment by checking the Bower Power Hour Facebook every Monday for a new prompt and responding below.
This week’s Bower Power Hour guests are RPM Racer Justin Matney and Trail-Gear owner Matt Messer. Then Jacob Tranum joins Offroaders Rock to talk about some of his projects, 30Pack Matt shares some Parts Buying tips, and Charlene closes out the show with a new Social Dirt topic. Justin, who just got back from Baja, talks about the racing and the business ends of RPM Offroad, a busy and successful ten years. Matt talks about the extreme amount of testing that goes into the products at Trail-Gear, and shares some of his rock crawling and racing stories. Jacob shares some of the awesome projects he has done for the less fortunate, and his experiences trying to sneak away some of his recipients’ cars. Then 30Pack Matt gives listeners a handy lesson in buying your own parts for at-home installation, and viewers share their trailer hauling stories on Social Dirt.
“We really want to get everyone’s stories on Bower Power Hour, and the new Social Dirt segment perfectly incorporates the normal everyday off-roader. The first two segments have gone great, and I love seeing our fans get more involved. Some of the trailer hauling stories from this week’s segment were downright crazy,” said Charlene Bower, Host and Executive Producer. “From this week’s show, it was great to catch Justin while he was between races, and hear about some of his wild experiences managing racing and business as well. Matt gave us a great in depth look at all the development and testing that goes into all the products at Trail-Gear, and it was great to hear about his racing as well. Jacob serves as an inspiration to the offroad community, it’s amazing how many projects he has done, and how fast he can complete them!”
