WYOMING - BLM Announce Releases Draft RMP/EIS For Public Review and Comment
Dear BRC Action Alert Subscriber,
The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) has announced that the Draft Resource Management Plan (RMP) and Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for Wyoming's Bighorn Basin are now available for public review and comment.
The plan will provide future direction in all aspects of public land and mineral management on approximately 3.2 million surface acres and 4.2 million acres of mineral estate in northwest Wyoming.
The 90-day comment period runs from April 22, 2011 to July 20, 2011. The public is encouraged to submit specific and detailed comments on the draft plan. All comments received during this period will be considered before the BLM issues the proposed RMP and final EIS. Submit comments using the following methods:
