Anaheim, CA – MaxTrac Suspension offers an innovative line of leveling, lifting, and lowering suspension solutions for late-model trucks and SUVs. While Maxtrac has been leading the way in the two-wheel drive lift market for the last several years, the company has recently branched out into the ever expanding 4WD lift market by applying their latest spindle technology along with competitive pricing to the new 7.5 ” Lift Kit for 2007-2013 Chevy and GMC 1500 4×4 trucks.

Properly lifting the 4WD Chevy 1500 involves relocating key front suspension components to gain the necessary amount of lift while maintaining the factory steering and CV axle angles. MaxTrac’s system leaves the upper control arms in the factory location but relocates the rest of the front suspension. New cast ductile iron knuckles span the increased distancebetween the upper and lower control arms. The knuckles are beefed up in key areas to handle a larger tire and wheel package and are machined to precise manufacturer specifications. The lower control arms are relocated with heavy-duty crossmembers constructed of 1/4″ laser-cut steel, while differential drop brackets lower the differential assembly to correct CV axle and front driveshaft angles. Machined aluminum spacers are positioned between the differential and the front axle shafts to accommodate the 1″ increase in track width on each side.

This MaxTrac system retains the factory front strut assemblies to keep the system affordable for the end consumer. 7″ strut spacers attach to the top of the front struts in order to gain the necessary amount of lift. Retaining the factory struts ensures that factory ride quality remains just as it was stock. Optional kicker braces are available to further reinforce the suspension.

Rear lift is achieved via Maxtrac’s proprietary 5″ fabricated lift blocks, which are angled to maintain factory rear pinion angles and staggered to correct driveshaft plunge. Longer plated U-bolts, nuts, and washers are also included. The system is available with Maxtrac’s twin tube gas-charged rear shocks or with Bilstein 5100 Monotube shocks as an optional upgrade.

The new 4WD lift system includes all necessary hardware along with complete installation instructions. Installation time is approximately 6 hours. This system will accommodate up to a 35″ tall tire on a 20×9 wheel with a maximum of 5″ of backspacing. Like the rest of the MaxTrac product line, these new systems are backed by MaxTrac’s Limited Lifetime warranty.
