dirt riot coppermines 140 220x146 Class of 26 UTVs at Dirt Riot Coppermines OffRoad Park and Seconds Separate Pro 4400 Class WinnersPLACERVILLE, CA   APRIL 29, 2013:  The largest class of Dirt Riot UTV racers, to date, hit the course on Saturday April 13th at the Coppermines Offroad Park for the second round of the Dirt Riot Central Series.  There were 26 UTV’s on course, but that certainly didn’t take away from the Pro 4400 class where the top 3 all completed 13 laps within seconds of each other for the entire race.  “The Coppermines Park always has so much to offer the racers and spectators that we love to come back here every year, ” said Rich Klein, President and founder of W.E. Rock history, hosting a two day event comprised of the Western Series Professional Rock Crawling on Saturday March 16th and the National Dirt Riot 4×4 Endurance Racing series kicking off its Southwest Region races on Sunday March 17th brought to you by 4 Wheelers Supply in Phoenix, Arizona.  This weekends events are very spectator friendly at the Thompson’s Ranch just outside of Congress, Arizona, only 5 miles down a dirt road that is better maintained than in years’ past and suitable for small cars.  “The terrain in Arizona is always amazing and the competitors love coming here.  We are back at the Thompson’s Ranch which is where we held our 2006 and 2007 Extreme Put-Up or Shut-Up Events, so this Saturdays Rock Crawl is going to be a lot of fun to watch with Pros coming from up to 14 hours away,” said Rich Klein, President and founder of W.E. dirt riot bryan texas 2013 175 220x146 Dirt Riot Takes on Texas at First Central Series Endurance 4x4 RacePLACERVILLE, CA   MARCH 11, 2013:  Dirt Riot’s Central Series started off with a bang at the Brazos Valley Off-Road Ranch just outside of College Station, Texas, the home of Texas A&M and Johnny Football.  Levi Shirley, the winner of the Pro 4400 class, is starting the season out on the right foot to repeat last years Central Series and National Title Wins.  Spectators who came out to enjoy the full day of racing action got to watch UTV’s, stock 4×4 trail rigs and highly modified rock buggies battle the rocks and fast speed sections to see who could complete the most laps in a set amount of time.  “We love coming to Texas for the racing, the friends and camaraderie,” said Rich Klein, President and founder of W.E. dirt riot auburn alabama 042 220x146 Dirt Riot Muddy Southeast Race at The Great American ParkPLACERVILLE, CA   FEBRUARY 28, 2013:  The storm that was supposed to clear and go around the Great American Park ended up running right through it, raining 3.5” in a 24 hour period just before race day.  Dirt Riot is a rain or shine event focusing on the endurance of 4×4 racers, so the green flag still dropped, although a bit later than originally planned.  “The course had to be changed four different times to allow for drainage, as the rivers had risen higher than some of the stakes!” explained Rich Klein, President and founder of W.E. Rock Events.  “Some of the climbs had become impassable, but when we got the race started, the drivers that were there were completely motivated to go for the win!” Read More→

Dirt Riot 2.23 169x220 Dirt Riot Inaugural Southeast Race at The Great American ParkPLACERVILLE, CA   FEBRUARY 20, 2013:  The first ever Southeast Dirt Riot Series event will take place this weekend kicking off the 2013 race season.  The Great American Park in Auburn Alabama will host a 4 mile long course that consists of some minor rock obstacles, some high speed sections, a lot of gullies and washes in a mostly sand base.  “We are excited to be in Auburn, it’s a new course for us and the park owner is very accommodating and a real pleasure to work with,” said Rich Klein, President and founder of W.E. (March 9th, 2012) The 1st central WE Rock Dirt Riot Race of the season was held at The Coppermines in Altus, OK. The weather conditions were awful to say the least, it was cool & rainy which equals a lot of MUD!! In total 15 competitors in the Ultra 4 class showed up despite the conditions. Derek said “the hardest part was keeping the mud out of our eyes or finding something to wipe our helmets off with. It was one of the most physically demanding races yet.” The team toughed out the 3 hour race to take their first win of the 2012 season.
