501(c)3 Tax Deductible Donations

FastAid 220x74 FAST Aid 2012 Year in Review and 2013 Exciting FutureMESA, AZ – JANUARY 16, 2012:  Happy New Year from all of us at FAST-Aid!  2012 was a busy year taking care of racers and non-profit business needs.  We are excited for 2013 including the continued success of FAST-Aid and added participation programs that we hope you will join.

During the 2012 calendar year, FAST-Aid assisted 7 different approved applications for individuals who were in financial need due to race related accidents.  Without this assistance these individuals would have had no way to pay medical bills and household expenses during their recovery.

Also in 2012, the Board of Directors of FAST-Aid completed a nearly 3 year application process with the IRS to be a fully approved 501(c)3 organization.  Read More→

All Donations Confirmed Tax Deductible

FastAid 220x74 FAST Aid Receives 501(c)3 Approval from IRSMESA, AZ – AUGUST 7, 2012:  FAST-Aid’s Federal Tax Exempt status has been approved by the Internal Revenue Service issuing a 501(c)3, identifying all contributions made previously, and going forward, as tax deductible donations and designates FAST-Aid as a public charity. The application packet totaled nearly 100 pages including the mission statement, financial information, proof of activities and supporting documentation dating back to the inception of FAST-Aid in efforts to qualify as a charitable organization serving the off-road community.  “We were warned by Certified Public Accountants and other charitable organizations about this scrutinizing process that typically drags on for months or even years,” said Jared Tetzlaff, Fast-Aid President.  “All of us on the board of directors were confident in our integrity and transparency, as well as the great things we have accomplished in our relatively short existence.  Needless to say, we were ecstatic when we were notified that the IRS recognized our activities as being in compliance and granted full tax exemption for all financial activity effective back to October 2009…and all that without any further inquiry or analysis!” Read More→

CA200 Mem 1 FAST Aid Participates in California 200 Memorial Unveiling at 2010 Lucas Oil Off Road ExpoMESA, AZ – OCTOBER 20, 2010:  Saturday October 9, 2010 marked another incredible day in the off-road world when families of the California 200 Accident gathered together to unveil the 8ft Memorial that was built in the recognition of the eight lives lost August 14, 2010.  “Thank you, thank you from the bottom of our hearts,” said a grieving mother in reference to the touching ceremony, impressive Memorial and 20 foot long banner that people could sign in remembrance throughout the weekend.  As part of the ceremony, a candle was lit for each of the eight who passed, and eight seconds of silence was called for.

“We will unveil for the first time a loving and lasting tribute from a special group of our family that wanted to honor those lost…Thankfully and fittingly, the memorial statue we are about to reveal is fabricated by hand in steel and perfect welds – much like the vehicles we all enjoy so much,” said Marty Fiolka during the ceremony. The Memorial was originated by Dana Dague, designed by Scott Freeman, built by Craig Hall of R&I Industries and will be mounted by Ted Cordts. Read More→

FastAid 300x101 FAST Aid Fundraisers Raise the OffRoad Community to a New LevelMESA, AZ – SEPTEMBER 6, 2010:  August 14, 2010 changed the lives of many in the off road community.  Some lost loved ones, some suffered injuries, and some remember a scene that will be hard to forget after the California 200 Accident.  On the same day, the off road community rallied together to support everyone involved.  Over 15 days later, there is no sign of this solid family throttling back.

Fundraisers to help the California 200 Accident have been held in multiple states with celebrities and racers making appearances and speaking out in support of FAST-Aid and their efforts to help the community members.  FAST-Aid has already assisted with several funeral expenses and have been available for any of the families needs. “Our family did not have extra money to pay for funeral costs. We don’t even know what we would do if it wasn’t for your help,” wrote a family member of the deceased in a note to FAST-Aid.  Doctor bills from the injured are next on the priority list to allocate, and then there will be funds for the children of the deceased and emotional support for anyone suffering from Post Traumatic Syndrome.  “I am sure I will need help with the medi-flight, there seems like there were at least 10 choppers there,” said one of the most severely injured at a recent fundraiser where he attended to show his reciprocal support.
