San Bernardino, Calif. – (Aug. 15, 2011) – Team General Tire’s unstoppable off-road force is at it again, tearing up the Glen Helen Raceway in San Bernardino during Round 9 and 10 of the Lucas Oil Off-Road Racing Series Aug. 6 and 7. Young-gun Dawson Kirchner topped the podium in Super Lite on Saturday, with teammates Robby Woods taking 2nd in Pro 2, Carl Renezeder grabbing 2nd in Pro 4 and Quentin Tucker taking home 2nd in Limited Buggy. Toole, UT –  (June 22, 2011) Ryan “Fluffer” Hagy, Freestyle MX rider and Director of Metal Mulisha clothing, will be debuting the “Ox” brand SuperLite truck at the Lucas Oil Off-Road Race June 25th and 26th at Miller Motorsports Raceway.  In addition to the truck debut, this race marks Hagy’s debut and entry into off-road racing.  The “Ox” brand SuperLite is a race team that has been started to honor the memory of Off-Road/Freestyle MX/Baja MX racer Jeff “Ox” Kargola. Kargola was establishing a promising racing career in the LOORRS series until his tragic accident in Baja April 29, 2011.  In the spirit of Kargola’s passion for racing, the “Ox” brand truck will race in his memory with close friend Ryan “Fluffer” Hagy in the driver’s seat. Mike Childress and navigator Jimmy Hook stunned the competition when they bested a talent-rich field of 16 Class 1 Unlimited drivers at this year’s General Tire SNORE Mint 400.  “People were surprised that we beat Harvey Letner and TJ Flores in only our second race in the new THR Motorsports car,” Childress commented after the race, “but we have always known we have what it takes to win.”  Held within view of the bright lights of Las Vegas, Nevada, “The Great American Desert Race” is regarded as one of the most difficult and prestigious off-road races in the world.  The course features silt beds, miles of rocky moon-hills, sandy washes, high speed graded roads, and the infamous “Rock Garden”. General Tire’s Jeff ‘OX’ Kargola, Walker Evans’ RJ Anderson seek to keep winning streak alive

Ballistic BJ Baldwin pushed hard to take the checkered flag at the Mint 400BJ Baldwin came into the 2011 General Tire SNORE Mint 400 with only one goal for the weekend: victory.  After overcoming a host of setbacks to earn a second place finish last year, the only room for improvement for Ballistic BJ was an overall win.  While some series have a drawing for starting position, SNORE holds qualifying to determine starting order.  This allowed Baldwin to rely on his skills instead of the luck of the draw.  The result: a first place qualifying position in his No. 97 General Tire / Monster Energy Unlimited Truck. General Tire at the Mint 400

LAS VEGAS – (March 28, 2010) – Team General Tire crushed the competition, sweeping the podium at the 2011 Mint 400 in Las Vegas March 26.  ‘Ballistic’ BJ Baldwin continues to unleash his fury this season.  Leading the pack for the majority of the race, BJ crossed the line victorious, followed by his father Bobby Baldwin in second and Mikey Childress in third.  New GT drivers Randy Merrit tookfirst in Stock Full followed by Macrae Glass with a first place finish in Class 8. GT spec class drivers Perry Coan received first place in Jeepspeed Challenge and Troy Messer took first in Trophylite.   • Snyder will receive $1,500 and a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to be titled Miss Mint 400.  Previous Miss Mint 400 winners include Vanna White and Lynda Carter.
