Four Corners 4×4 Completes 2014 Season

DURANGO, CO – Four Corners 4×4 competed August 16th in the Dirt Riot endurance racing event held at Battle Rock Off Road Park near Cortez, Colorado. The event was a Jason Kaminsky Rick Jenkins climb out of a water crossing. 220x220 Four Corners 4x4 Completes 2014 Seasondouble-points race and concluded both the Mountain Series and Southwest Series for the 2014 season. The #4678 race car driven by Jason Kaminsky and co-driven by Rick Jenkins had moved into third place before succumbing to mechanical failure.  The team finished in fourth place.

“A problem with the car’s electrical system surfaced during pre-running that we weren’t able to resolve prior to the race,” commented Kaminsky. “Despite that, we were able to run as high as third place until we were taken out of the race.” Read More→

 Four Corners 4x4   CONSISTENCY KEY ELEMENT FOR DURANGO OFF ROAD RACING TEAMDURANGO, CO – Four Corners 4×4 traveled to Tucson, Arizona to compete in the second round of the Dirt Riot Endurance Racing Southwest Series at MC Motorsports Park on April 5th. In Dirt Riot Endurance Racing, teams compete on a 5-10 mile long circuit during an established time limit. Competitor finishing order is determined by the number of laps completed by each within the time limit. The 2006 Jeep Wrangler LJ piloted by Jason Kaminsky and Rick Jenkins of Four Corners 4×4 suffered late-race mechanical breakage causing the team to finish in second place. Read More→

Four Corners 4×4 Completes 2014 Every Man Challenge

 Four Corners 4x4 Completes 2014 Every Man ChallengeDURANGO, CO – Jason Kaminsky and Richard Jenkins with Four Corners 4×4 recently returned from their participation in the Smittybilt Every Man Challenge Ultra4 Stock Class endurance race held on February 6th. The event took place at the Johnson Valley OHV Area in California’s Mojave Desert. After a random 6 draw started Kaminsky and Jenkins at the rear of the field in 22nd position, they maneuvered through the pack to finish 10th in an elapsed time of 8 hours 59 minutes. Due to the difficulty of the course, fewer than half of the racers completed the course in the allotted time limit of ten hours. Declared as the hardest one-day off road endurance race in the world, the course consisted of approximately 120 miles of high-speed desert segments across sand washes, washboard roads, dry lakebeds and 11 of the country’s most challenging rock crawling trails. DSC 4200 220x146 Battle Rock Offroad Park Was Perfect Location for Dirt Riot Double Points Showdown

PLACERVILLE, CA   JULY 16, 2013:  Battle Rock Offroad Park in Cortez Colorado was the scene of some high horsepower action and thrilling finishes for both the Mountain and Southwest 2013 Dirt Riot 4×4 Endurance Series.  The heat of the day was minimal compared to the heat of the competition, as the points would reveal multiple series champions at the end of this one race.

“The Cortez, Colorado event is always a good time with great support from the Jimmy’s 4×4 crew and the drivers that come from all over for the one opportunity to earn double National points at a race,” said Rich Klein, President and founder of W.E.
