Fort Mill, S.C. (Nov. 10, 2011) – Carl Renezeder hit an incredible 97 wins Sunday at the Lucas Oil Off-Road Racing Series (LOORRS) Round 14 in Pro 4, securing his spot as number one, leading points for Pro 4.

While the mood was somber at LOORRS Rounds 13 and 14 following the tragic death of competitor Rick Huseman, teams took time to remember the world-class racer and gave the fans all they could in remembrance of him. Team GT’s Robby Woods honored Huseman by painting his once blue truck green and adorning it with dozens of memorial stickers. Todd LeDuc was flying high in Las Vegas
 Chaplain Steve Hanson offered a somber prayer for Rick and Jeff Huseman to open the ceremonies for the latest Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series (LOORRS) race at Las Vegas Motor Speedway last weekend.  The Husemans and their friend Danny Hicks died in a plane crash just three weeks prior to the race, taking away one of LeDuc Racing’s closest competitors on the track.  Kevin Huseman led the Pro4 Unlimited field around the parade lap in the No. 36 truck to pay the final respect to his lost brothers.  Read More→
Rob MacCachren took home the hardware in front of his hometown crowd

The latest Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series (LOORRS) short course action took place at Las Vegas Motor Speedway last weekend as the race community paid their final respects to Pro4 Unlimited competitor Rick Huseman.  Huseman’s life was cut short three weeks ago in a small plane crash that also took his brother Jeff and friend Danny Hicks.  Many teams were running No. 36 stickers on their trucks to honor Huseman, including reigning Pro2 Unlimited champion Rob MacCachren.  Read More→

Kyle LeDuc and Brian Deegan each claim victories at Speed World Off Road Park

SEPTEMBER 28, 2011 – La Mirada, CA – The Lucas Oil Off-Road Racing Series got back underway this past weekend at Speed World Off Road Park in Surprise, AZ! It marked rounds 11 and 12 of the 15 round series and the racing on the track was intense. The resilient Arizona fans once again packed the stands despite the high temperatures and unabated sun, and they were treated to a full day of thrilling races with Makita backed drivers claiming victories in multiple classes. Todd LeDuc shed some weight during Saturday's Pro4 Unlimited race
The last time the LeDuc team visited Speedworld the course was not kind to them, particularly the brutal stutter bumps.  While the latest weekend of the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series (LOORRS) was not free of carnage for the LeDucs, they were rewarded for their never-say-die attitude.  Fans braved triple digit temperatures to see Kyle LeDuc qualify first on Friday, with his father Curt qualifying fifth in the No. 43 Makita Tools / Truxxx Lift and Level Ford.   Todd LeDuc tossed a driveshaft in practice, which forced him to start at the back of the pack for Saturday’s main event.  Read More→

Corey Sisler Heats Up Speedworld In Pro Lite Unlimited

 Earlier this season during the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series (LOORRS) first visit to Speedworld Off Road Park, short course phenom Corey Sisler wowed the crowd by crossing the finish line on fire to reach the podium in Pro Lite Unlimited.  In last weekend’s return to Speedworld, the grandstands were on fire as the crowd braved triple-digit heat in order to watch short course racing’s fastest racers.  Sisler got off to a great start, second quickest out of twelve racers on Friday’s practice with the newly applied AEM Performance Electronics logos gracing the side of his No. 19 Pro Lite Unlimited truck.  Read More→

Robby Woods soars through the air at Glen Helen

Robby Woods came to Glen Helen Raceway last weekend with a score to settle.  While Woods currently resides in the top ten in the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series (LOORRS) premier Pro2 Unlimited class, his first visit to historic Glen Helen Raceway this season did not meet his demanding expectations.  LOORRS’ return to Glen Helen started on Friday with Woods qualifying third amongst 15 of the best off-road racers on the planet.  When he was not on the track, Robby Woods was busy signing autographed posters and handing out free t-shirts to fans.  When the Pro2 Unlimited trucks took the green flag Saturday under the night lights, the crowd was a sea of blue Dethrone Royalty shirts cheering for Woods and his No. 99 Lucas Slick Mist / Superchips Chevrolet.

San Bernardino, Calif. – (Aug. 15, 2011) – Team General Tire’s unstoppable off-road force is at it again, tearing up the Glen Helen Raceway in San Bernardino during Round 9 and 10 of the Lucas Oil Off-Road Racing Series Aug. 6 and 7. Young-gun Dawson Kirchner topped the podium in Super Lite on Saturday, with teammates Robby Woods taking 2nd in Pro 2, Carl Renezeder grabbing 2nd in Pro 4 and Quentin Tucker taking home 2nd in Limited Buggy. King Shocks racer Robby Woods left Glen Helen raceway in San Bernardino, California with a matching set of 2nd place trophies after rounds 9 and 10 of the Lucas Oil Offroad Racing series. Robby races in the Pro-2 class for unlimited, two wheel drive trucks against some of the best drivers the sport has ever seen including King Shocks teammate and 7 time champion Carl Renezeder. Robby’s success is a welcomed sight to many fans and even a few fellow competitors who love to root for the underdog. Only a few years ago, Robby made a commitment to himself that he would design and build his own Pro-2 race truck and hit the track in what is arguably one of the most intense and challenging forms of racing on the planet. Chad George also takes first for tire maker at Glen Helen

FULLERTON, CA (Aug. 9, 2011) – Yokohama Tire Corporation collected two first-place victories in the Lucas Oil Off-Road Racing Series (LOORRS) event, August 7 at Glen Helen Raceway near San Bernardino, California. Longtime Yokohama-sponsored racer Cameron Steele captured his first Lucas Oil race of the season in the Pro Lite Class, as did Chad George, who took the title in the Super Lites Class. Rob MacCachren is no stranger to the podium
 In his quest to win his fourth consecutive Pro2 title, ROCKSTAR Energy Drink’s Rob MacCachren knew that he needed a big weekend at Glen Helen Raceway.  While Rob tasted the thrill of victory on Saturday, he also felt the agony of defeat the following day.  On Saturday Rob Mac not only dominated at Glen Helen, he also learned that he will be inducted into the Off Road Motorsports Hall of Fame this year and will join the ranks of fellow racing legends such as Walker Evans and Ivan Stewart.  “I am honored to be included in the company of men who are heroes and mentors in the sport,” the humble MacCachren stated emotionally after the announcement.  MacCachren’s induction ceremony will be held at the Wally Parks NHRA Motorsports Museum at the Pomona, California Fairgrounds during the weekend of the Lucas Oil Off Road Expo in October.  SCORE International held their drawing for the Tecate SCORE San Felipe Challenge of Champions on Saturday as well, and Rob MacCachren learned that he drew the number one starting position.  Unfortunately there was nowhere to go but down, as MacCachren experienced on Sunday.
