TOOELE, UT – AUGUST 23rd, 2014: More than 90 teams registered for the Discount Tire American Rocksports Challenge at Miller Motorsports Park. With double the car count from 2013, the racing was some of the tightest and most intense of the 2014 ULTRA4 season to date. After a fierce battle in the main among 4 former Kings; Campbell, Healy, Scherer and Miller, it was Healy who climbed to the top of the podium for his 2nd consecutive ULTRA4 win. Fellow Nitto Tire drivers, Jason Scherer and Erik Miller took 2nd and 3rd place respectively for a Nitto Tire podium sweep at the Trail-Gear ULTRA4 Western Regional finale. (more…)

First Ever ULTRA4 Win for “EZ” Rick Mooneyham
TOOELE, UT July 16th, 2013: Driver “EZ” Rick Mooneyham is no stranger to the ULTRA4 podium. Over the years, he’s been one of the most consistent top three finishers at the Griffin King of The Hammers Presented by Nitto Tire. However, despite all of his podium finishes, a first place trophy had proved elusive to Mooneyham; that is until last weekend’s American Rocksports Challenge held at Miller Motorsports Park in Tooele, UT where Mooneyham crushed the competition and claimed first place finishing nearly 45 seconds ahead of Shannon Campbell. Miller Motorsports Park Finalizes 2013 Schedule

TOOELE VALLEY, UTAH (December 19, 2012) — With the recent announcement that the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship, sanctioned by AMA Pro Racing, will be coming to Miller Motorsports Park on August 17, 2013, the remainder of the track’s 2013 schedule has now been finalized and season passes are now on sale at a substantial discount.
The 2013 schedule will be quite a bit different from recent years, with the first major event of the season not taking place until late June and a jam-packed schedule throughout August and September, but track officials are pleased with the number and variety of events planned. (more…)

The Ford Racing Raptor Assault program provides hands-on experience in high-performance off-road driving on a variety of terrain at the state-of-the-art facility just outside Salt Lake City. A product of the Miller Performance Schools, the Raptor Assault uses slightly modified versions of Ford’s renowned production F-150 SVT Raptor. (more…)

Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series Returns This Weekend
High-flying off-road action, CruiserFest ’12 on tap
TOOELE VALLEY, UTAH (June 18, 2012) —One of the wildest events of the year is on tap at Miller Motorsports Park this weekend, June 23-24, as the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series makes its third annual visit to Utah.The high-flying, non-stop, adrenaline-fueled action provided by the series’ trucks and buggies has proven to be very popular with Utah fans. There are nine separate racing classes, four for trucks, two for buggies and three for karts (small, truck-bodied off-road buggies). In addition to well-known off-road racing stars like Utah’s Jerry Daugherty, Carl Renezeder, Curt LeDuc and Rob McCachren, the series is enjoying an influx of action sports stars such as motocross legends Jeremy McGrath, Brian Deegan, Jeremy “Twitch” Stenberg and Carey Hart. Utah Kicks Off 2012 Season
Grassroots off-road series showing promising growth
TOOELE VALLEY, UTAH (May 8, 2012) — The newly-created Lucas Oil Regional Off Road Series – Utah kicked off its 2012 season on the Off Road Short Course at Miller Motorsports Park this past Saturday, May 5.
The regional racers set out on Friday afternoon to test their vehicles on the track. Some had not been in their race cars since last season, and some were testing new vehicles for the first time. In addition, there were many newcomers to the series, some of whom traveled from as far away as Colorado to participate. The new series is growing briskly, as the participation has more than doubled since its inception last summer. (more…)
