Will Compete at Ultra4 Rock Sports Challenge This Weekend

STURGIS, KY   JULY 12, 2011  Bill Baird is a retired ARCA Champion who bought a Campbell Enterprises buggy in March, finished 5th last month at Rausch Creek qualifying for the 2012 King of the Hammers and will compete at the Rock Sports Challenge this weekend at Miller Motorsports Park in Tooele, UT.  “I didn’t know that one race would turn into the series, but I sure am glad that it has,” said Bill Baird who plans to race the rest of the 2011 Ultra4 Series in preparation for the 2012 Griffin King of the Hammers. TOOELE, UTAH— When the dust settled at the Miller Motorsports Park in Tooele, Utah, Sunday two new faces had ascended to the top step of the podium in the SuperLite Championship Series — Patrick Clark positioning himself for a run at the overall points championship and Wyatt Kirchner breaking out as one of the youngest racers to win a SuperLite showdown.
Saturday’s SuperLite race was Patrick Clark’s from seconds after the start. The Las Vegas racer jumped out to a commanding lead and never let up, taking it to a stacked field of SuperLite racers and coming away with his first Lucas Oil Off-Road Racing Series win. Read More→
Rob MacCachren flies across the mammoth table top at Miller Motorsports Park

The latest rounds of racing in the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series (LOORRS) 2011 short course series stormed into Utah last weekend.  Miller Motorsports Park’s created a brand new track, but it produced very familiar results during Friday’s qualifying.  Rob MacCachren qualified first in the marquee Pro2 Unlimited class in the ROCKSTAR Energy Drink / BFGoodrich Tires / MasterCraft Safety truck.  Unfortunately, the engine caused Rob concern, so his exceptional crew changed it prior to Saturday’s racing action.
