Rock Eastern Professional Rock Crawling Series comes to Dayton, TN this weekend completing their 14th year of regular season competition. Rock Professional Rock Crawling Eastern Season Opener this Weekend in Dayton, TNPLACERVILLE, CA   APRIL 17, 2013:  This weekend brings Professional Rock Crawling back to the most well known 4×4 rock crawling wall in the Eastern Series: just outside Dayton Tennessee at 35 Pitts Gap Road, Graysville, TN. The event is very spectator and family friendly with the professional drivers available to sign autographs and throw gifts into the crowd in midst of the competition.  “We love coming to Dayton to kick off the Eastern Pro Rock Crawling Series, the crowd here is amazing and a ton of fun,” said Rich Klein, President and founder of W.E. dirt riot auburn alabama 042 220x146 Dirt Riot Muddy Southeast Race at The Great American ParkPLACERVILLE, CA   FEBRUARY 28, 2013:  The storm that was supposed to clear and go around the Great American Park ended up running right through it, raining 3.5” in a 24 hour period just before race day.  Dirt Riot is a rain or shine event focusing on the endurance of 4×4 racers, so the green flag still dropped, although a bit later than originally planned.  “The course had to be changed four different times to allow for drainage, as the rivers had risen higher than some of the stakes!” explained Rich Klein, President and founder of W.E. Rock Events.  “Some of the climbs had become impassable, but when we got the race started, the drivers that were there were completely motivated to go for the win!” Read More→

W.E. Rock – What it Takes?

Rock   What it Takes?While attending any event, it’s easy to think, “I could have coordinated this so much better!” We have all been to some motor sports event, and wondered; “Why did the event planner organize the event this way?” However, have you ever really stopped and thought about what actually goes on behind the scenes of a race or event? This summer 2012, I did just that. I was given the honor of being able to travel all over the U.S. with the organizers and hosts of the W.E. Rock, aka World Extreme Rock Crawling events.

With the recent excitement towards the Ultra-4 racing, and advancements of the sport, W.E. Rock decided to add a new event to their season. Dirt Riots are their newest venture and get the drivers not only thinking about how to manage the course, but how to do it in the fastest time as well. It is not a race to the finish line, but an endurance race, and the one who manages to make it through as many laps as possible in 3 hours, wins this new style of racing. Read More→
