Multi-time champion Rob MacCachren and 2011 Rookie of the Year Todd LeDuc join forces with Makita and Rockstar in 2012
Team LeDuc started the weekend at historic Glen Helen Raceway by tipping off their Facebook followers to the available discount tickets for the weekend’s short course racing. This resulted in grandstands packed with LeDuc Racing fans for Rounds 9 & 10 of the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series (LOORRS). Read More→
When the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series (LOORRS) brought world-class short course racing to Utah last season, Team LeDuc Racing earned three podium finishes for ROCKSTAR Energy Drink / Matika Tools. Coming back to Miller Motorsports Park for 2011, the LeDucs would settle for nothing less than a win at the all new one-mile track. The mammoth table top jump and long straight aways at Miller Motorsports Park are perfectly suited for the natural talent of Kyle, Todd, and Curt LeDuc. To illustrate the point, on Friday Kyle qualified first in Pro Lite Unlimited and he qualified second in Pro4 Unlimited, while he father Curt qualified 5th and his brother Todd qualified 6th for Saturday’s racing. The LeDucs even sponsored the second annual Racers for Christ raffle for Chaplain Steve Hansen, under the perfect Southern California weather. May 19, 2011 – La Mirada, CA – The Glen Helen round of the Lucas Oil Off-Road Racing Series is always one to get excited about, with much of the industry and majority of the drivers being from the Southern California area including Rockstar Metal Mulisha Makita’s Brian Deegan and the Rockstar Makita LeDuc Racing team of Curt, Todd, and Kyle LeDuc.
This weekend’s racing will mark rounds five and six of the series, and Brian Deegan comes into this event in second place in ProLite and Pro 2. 2011 is Brian’s first full season in the Pro 2 class and he has adapted extremely well to the new challenge by finishing on the podium several times thus far. In ProLite, “The General” is still the man to beat and as a former champion, is looking to capture another championship. He will face some stiff competition however from the Rockstar Makita ProLite truck of Kyle LeDuc. Kyle is a former champion as well and is hungry for a win in 2011. Read More→

By their own admission, Rounds 13 and 14 of the short course series in Las Vegas did not go as well as they had hoped. Lesser teams might let this affect them mentally, but the Rockstar Energy Drink / Makita Tools team drew upon their years of experience and came to Phoenix with renewed purpose. Read More→
