JT Taylor 220x146 JT Taylor Races NORRA Mexican 1000 in Ultra4 CarCOLORADO SPRINGS, CO    APRIL 22, 2012  –  JT Taylor will be taking the Torchmate / Tube Shark Ultra4 car south of the border to compete in the four day 2012 General Tire NORRA Mexican 1000 Race.  This will be the first effort for an Ultra4 car to compete in this style of race.  “This will be my third time participating in this race and taking my car makes it even more special this year,” said JT Taylor. “The roots of Baja racing are part of this race but this effort will be the OG of desert racing.” Read More→

JT Taylor KOH 2012 220x146 JT Taylor Starts 6th Consecutive King of the HammersCOLORADO SPRINGS, CO    FEBRUARY 15, 2012  –  JT Taylor set forth on his 6th King of the Hammers adventure last week in the same car that he has driven for 5 of those years.  After a high speed tumble during pre-running, the team thrashed to get the car back on all four in time for qualifying.  JT started Fridays race in 68th and finished his race 18.5 miles from the finish line with a blown transfer case.  “When we were 40 miles from the finish line I thought I would get to finish this race, but I got shot in the foot again,” said JT Taylor after recovering the rig. “But the time spent on the lakebed with friends, who I only get to see a couple times a year, makes it worth the trip nonetheless.” Read More→

Taylor Temple Canyon 300x223 JT Taylor Beats Standing Record by 10 Seconds at CHCA Temple Canyon Hill Climb RENO, NV    MAY 31, 2011   After a win in the NORRA 4a Class with Marty Fiolka, Doug Nagy, and Jim and Lisa Greenway, JT Taylor headed north to Colorado to compete and win the CHCA Temple Canyon Hill Climb.   JT Taylor finished first in the Ultra4 Class and beat his pre-existing record by 10 seconds in the blue Torchmate / Tube Shark Buggy.  “We beat the record by 10 seconds because the conditions were perfect, the course was perfect and it truly couldn’t have been better,” said JT Taylor after a very successful weekend.
