Rocking J KOH 2 220x146 Rocking J Offroad and Crossed Up Customs Team up for 2013 King of the Hammers(Tucson AZ, Feb 2012) Rocking J Offroad’s John Brock has participated in motorsport for over 30 years, competing in dirt track, stock cars, drag racing, and tractor pulling. After getting involved with extreme rock crawling in his native state of Arizona John started racing his trail buggy in Lucas Oil Short Course races and WERock Dirt Riot events.

As the racing bug took hold again, it became evident that the trail rig was just not set up for speed, so in the summer of 2012 a phone call was made to fellow Tucson resident Mike Klensin of Crossed-Up Customs and one of their ‘Ultra SS’ buggy chassis’ was ordered. Read More→

Monday, February 25th, 2013

0006 we moab 040612 220x146 W.E. Rock What it Takes? While attending any event, it’s easy to think, “I could have coordinated this so much better!” We have all been to some motor sports event, and wondered; “Why did the event planner organize the event this way?” However, have you ever really stopped and thought about what actually goes on behind the scenes of a race or event? This summer 2012, I did just that. I was given the honor of being able to travel all over the U.S. with the organizers and hosts of the W.E. Rock, aka World Extreme Rock Crawling events.

With the recent excitement towards the Ultra-4 racing, and advancements of the sport, W.E. Rock decided to add a new event to their season. Dirt Riots are their newest venture and get the drivers not only thinking about how to manage the course, but how to do it in the fastest time as well. It is not a race to the finish line, but an endurance race, and the one who manages to make it through as many laps as possible in 3 hours, wins this new style of racing. Read More→
