Healy had not planned on racing in Arkansas, however, after experiencing DNFs in Indiana and Utah, he made the decision to make the trek to Arkansas. Read More→

Pier Acerni wins Back to Back on Raceline WheelsGARDEN GROVE, CA    AUGUST 19, 2013:  Pier Acerni chose Raceline Wheels before their first King of the Valleys UK event last year.  Since, he has competed and won both King of the Valley events and competed at the 2013 King of the Hammers.  “Yes, we run the 17×9.5 Monster Aluminum Beadlock wheels.  We didn’t punch any tires, different to others that cut many tires.  Our car is very heavy weight, but the wheels are very strong and we haven’t had any problems in the rocks,” said Pier Acerni of Italy’s Team Acerni Racing in his broken English. WALTERS ARENA, WALES, UK, August 14th, 2013: More than 40 teams from nine countries competed last weekend in the 2nd annual King of The Valleys ULTRA4 race held at Walters Arena in Wales, UK. Going into the event, there was much speculation as to who would be declared this year’s King of The Valleys: Would it be a returning driver such as last year’s winner, Italian Pier Acerni, or perhaps a local racer familiar with the terrain such as UK’s Jim Marsden, or could it possibly be the American ULTRA4 driver on his first trip overseas, Levi Shirley? Ultimately, after three grueling days of competition that saw drivers navigating through winding technical rally roads normally reserved for WRC events, battling waste deep mud bogs and scaling extreme rock obstacles designed specifically for this event, it was the Italian driver, Pier Acerni, who retained his crown for another year. August 13th, 2013 Renton, WA.-  The #5AZ car piloted by Shannon and Wayland Campbell remains in the ULTRA4 National Points lead after a 1st place finish at the Badlands UMC race. ARB wants to wish Shannon and Wayland a HUGE congratulations on the successful race and we can not wait to see how they perform at the remaining races this season.

First Ever ULTRA4 Win for “EZ” Rick Mooneyham

"EZ" Rick MooneyhamTOOELE, UT July 16th, 2013: Driver “EZ” Rick Mooneyham is no stranger to the ULTRA4 podium.  Over the years, he’s been one of the most consistent top three finishers at the Griffin King of The Hammers Presented by Nitto Tire. However, despite all of his podium finishes, a first place trophy had proved elusive to Mooneyham; that is until last weekend’s American Rocksports Challenge held at Miller Motorsports Park in Tooele, UT where Mooneyham crushed the competition and claimed first place finishing nearly 45 seconds ahead of Shannon Campbell. Dsquared RacingColorado based Dsquared Racing announces a 15th place finish in the 2013 Ultra 4 Regional Series Race at Badlands Off Road Park in Attica, Indiana June 29th.  The race hosted just over 30 Ultra 4 competitors and was a two hour lap race.  Although the previous year was noted for dusty conditions causing poor visibility, this year extensive rain and mud changed track conditions considerably.  Attica hosted a parade and festival that the competitors participated and on race day an estimated 8000 fans were in attendance.   ATTICA, IN, July 2nd 2013: More than 30 teams competed in the 2nd Annual ULTRA4 race held at Badlands Off-Road Park last Saturday as part of the Ultimate Motorsport Championship in Attica, IN. While the course layout was similar to last year, the dry and dusty conditions of 2012 were replaced with heavy rain and extensive mud.  Thousands of fans braved the wet and mucky conditions for a chance to see some of their favorite ULTRA4 drivers compete in a course that featured a newly created off road amphitheater and a technical rock quarry made even more punishing due to the slick conditions.
