Rock Rock Crawling and Dirt Riot Endurance RacingPLACERVILLE, CA   MAY 8, 2013:  This weekend will be two days of very different types of 4×4 off road racing at the Three Peaks Recreation area outside of Cedar City, Utah.  Saturday will be Professional W.E. Rock Rock Crawling all day and Sunday will be fast paced Dirt Riot Racing, with the main race not starting until afternoon.  Both events are spectator friendly and easily accessible by car at the county park.  “This is one of the original rock crawling sites in the nation that offers some of the best rock formations and best spectator viewing in the nation,” said Rich Klein, President and founder of W.E. dirt riot gray rock 014 220x146 Fast Field of Racers at Dirt Riot Gray Rock ORVPLACERVILLE, CA   MAY 7, 2013:  The second Dirt Riot Southeast Series race was hosted at Gray Rock ORV outside of Birmingham, Alabama in a lush green and brown environment where the safety orange color of Bill Baird’s Ultra4 car stood out not only in color, but in speed, taking the win by a full lap.  Earlier in the day Mod Trail winner Tim Carter and Stock Trail winner Travis Wilson raced against a field of over a dozen.  “We had a great time here at Gray Rock!  Everyone was very helpful and the spectators were a lot of fun.  We were happy to run all the races earlier in the day to be able to have open wheeling in the afternoon,” said Rich Klein, President and founder of W.E. Rock Professional Rock Crawling Eastern Season Opener in Dayton, TNPLACERVILLE, CA   MAY 2, 2013:  One of the coldest weekends in April at the Kizzar’s Rock Crawling ranch outside of Dayton, TN brought out only the core group of drivers and spectators for the first round of the W.E. Rock professional rock crawling Eastern Series.   “Friday was 28 degrees after factoring in the wind, and Saturday wasn’t much better.  It was miserable, so I can truly call every spectator that came out a Hard Core Rock Crawling Fan!” said Rich Klein, President and founder of W.E. dirt riot coppermines 140 220x146 Class of 26 UTVs at Dirt Riot Coppermines OffRoad Park and Seconds Separate Pro 4400 Class WinnersPLACERVILLE, CA   APRIL 29, 2013:  The largest class of Dirt Riot UTV racers, to date, hit the course on Saturday April 13th at the Coppermines Offroad Park for the second round of the Dirt Riot Central Series.  There were 26 UTV’s on course, but that certainly didn’t take away from the Pro 4400 class where the top 3 all completed 13 laps within seconds of each other for the entire race.  “The Coppermines Park always has so much to offer the racers and spectators that we love to come back here every year, ” said Rich Klein, President and founder of W.E. Rock Professional Rock Crawling Eastern Season Opener this Weekend in Dayton, TNPLACERVILLE, CA   APRIL 17, 2013:  This weekend brings Professional Rock Crawling back to the most well known 4×4 rock crawling wall in the Eastern Series: just outside Dayton Tennessee at 35 Pitts Gap Road, Graysville, TN. The event is very spectator and family friendly with the professional drivers available to sign autographs and throw gifts into the crowd in midst of the competition.  “We love coming to Dayton to kick off the Eastern Pro Rock Crawling Series, the crowd here is amazing and a ton of fun,” said Rich Klein, President and founder of W.E. Dirt Riot 4.13 169x220 Dirt Riot Continues Central Series Endurance 4x4 Racing This Weekend at the Coppermines OffRoad ParkPLACERVILLE, CA   APRIL 10, 2013:  The Dirt Riot Central Series continues to draw professional racers, local 4×4 club members and UTV racers to form a 2013 series that is already heavily contested in all classes this year.  This weekend, the 2013 Dirt Riot Central Series second of three races will be at Coppermines Offroad Park on Saturday April 13th, with racing starting at 9am.  “We are excited to be back at the Coppermines Park, it always has so much to offer for the racers and spectators that we really enjoy our time there.  There was some strong weather at the beginning of the week which helped water down the track, and since it has improved to what should be mid-70’s and clear by the weekend,” said Rich Klein, President and founder of W.E. Rock history, hosting a two day event comprised of the Western Series Professional Rock Crawling on Saturday March 16th and the National Dirt Riot 4×4 Endurance Racing series kicking off its Southwest Region races on Sunday March 17th brought to you by 4 Wheelers Supply in Phoenix, Arizona.  This weekends events are very spectator friendly at the Thompson’s Ranch just outside of Congress, Arizona, only 5 miles down a dirt road that is better maintained than in years’ past and suitable for small cars.  “The terrain in Arizona is always amazing and the competitors love coming here.  We are back at the Thompson’s Ranch which is where we held our 2006 and 2007 Extreme Put-Up or Shut-Up Events, so this Saturdays Rock Crawl is going to be a lot of fun to watch with Pros coming from up to 14 hours away,” said Rich Klein, President and founder of W.E. dirt riot bryan texas 2013 175 220x146 Dirt Riot Takes on Texas at First Central Series Endurance 4x4 RacePLACERVILLE, CA   MARCH 11, 2013:  Dirt Riot’s Central Series started off with a bang at the Brazos Valley Off-Road Ranch just outside of College Station, Texas, the home of Texas A&M and Johnny Football.  Levi Shirley, the winner of the Pro 4400 class, is starting the season out on the right foot to repeat last years Central Series and National Title Wins.  Spectators who came out to enjoy the full day of racing action got to watch UTV’s, stock 4×4 trail rigs and highly modified rock buggies battle the rocks and fast speed sections to see who could complete the most laps in a set amount of time.  “We love coming to Texas for the racing, the friends and camaraderie,” said Rich Klein, President and founder of W.E. Rocking J KOH 2 220x146 Rocking J Offroad and Crossed Up Customs Team up for 2013 King of the Hammers(Tucson AZ, Feb 2012) Rocking J Offroad’s John Brock has participated in motorsport for over 30 years, competing in dirt track, stock cars, drag racing, and tractor pulling. After getting involved with extreme rock crawling in his native state of Arizona John started racing his trail buggy in Lucas Oil Short Course races and WERock Dirt Riot events.

As the racing bug took hold again, it became evident that the trail rig was just not set up for speed, so in the summer of 2012 a phone call was made to fellow Tucson resident Mike Klensin of Crossed-Up Customs and one of their ‘Ultra SS’ buggy chassis’ was ordered. Read More→

Racing Saturday March 2nd Starting at 9am in Bryan, TX at Brazos Valley Off-Road Ranch

Dirt Riot Brazos Valley Ranch 2 165x220 Dirt Riot Enters Texas for First Central Series Endurance 4x4 Race This WeekendPLACERVILLE, CA   FEBRUARY 27, 2013:  The Dirt Riot Central Series drew professional racers, local 4×4 club members and UTV racers to form a 2012 series that was heavily contested in all classes last year.  Levi Shirley, a 20 year old from Kansas, would end the season with the Pro 4400 Central Series Championship and the National Title, a prestigious title awarded to the driver with the most points across all 4 US series.  This weekend the 2013 Dirt Riot Central Series opener will be at Brazos Valley Off-Road Ranch on Saturday March 2nd, with racing starting at 9am.  “The trail system at Brazos Valley Off-Road Ranch is amazing crisscrossing 300 acres of an old gravel pit system.  Our course will only be about 4 miles of their trail system that would take 2-3 days to run,” said Rich Klein, President and founder of W.E. W.E. Rock – What it Takes?

Rock   What it Takes?While attending any event, it’s easy to think, “I could have coordinated this so much better!” We have all been to some motor sports event, and wondered; “Why did the event planner organize the event this way?” However, have you ever really stopped and thought about what actually goes on behind the scenes of a race or event? This summer 2012, I did just that. I was given the honor of being able to travel all over the U.S. with the organizers and hosts of the W.E. Rock, aka World Extreme Rock Crawling events.

With the recent excitement towards the Ultra-4 racing, and advancements of the sport, W.E. Rock decided to add a new event to their season. Dirt Riots are their newest venture and get the drivers not only thinking about how to manage the course, but how to do it in the fastest time as well. It is not a race to the finish line, but an endurance race, and the one who manages to make it through as many laps as possible in 3 hours, wins this new style of racing. Read More→
