Once we finished Bus Line and Survey Line we headed back toward 3-Stage Hill to get on the Timberline trail. As usual, there was a crowd of about a hundred people watching drivers try their hardest to get over the first step of the wet hill.

3-Stage
This early Bronco was determined to make it over the step. It was so steep and wet that he was having a hell of a time at it.

3-Stage
Next on the hill was this Okie and his '92 Dodge Ram diesel pickup. He was not about to give up and gave it hell time after time.

3-Stage
The Dodge does a victory lap as he comes back down to pick up all of his lost parts.

3-Stage
Finally, he gives it everything he's got and stands the Bronco straight up in the air before coming back down the hill backward to watch the next attempt.

3-Stage
Talk about a blatent safety violation! He finally makes it over, but sends this tire on it's 10-bolt rim hurling straight up in the air. The tire rolled at about 30mph down the hill, hit a rock, flew about 20 feet in the air, just missed hitting a child, then landed on the two Broncos at the bottom. Luckily, nobody was hurt and nothing was broken. Folks, let's tie our parts down in those rigs!!!
