.Fort Hood had been closed for almost 4 weeks for maneuvers and training exercises. Needless to say, us regulars were chompin' at the bit to get back out and play. On Saturday, there about 17 of us and a very nice-sized group of 9 on Sunday.

.During the Army's exercises, they plowed down hundreds of acres of trees and brush. This proved both damaging to our trails and beneficial at the same time, as it uncovered new hills and trails we hadn't seen before.
