The Big Texas Event was organized by Eddie Runner in Houston and promoted on the TX4x4 mailing list. Word spread and what used to be a Hummer event, became a free-for all!

Drivers came from all over, including Colorado and Iowa just to check out Fort Hood. The pack included probably 20 Hummers, Land Rovers, Jeeps, Toyotas, Fords, Chevy's, you name it!

Since Eddie knew how familiar I am with Fort Hood, he asked me to lead the "tough trails." Tim Kyle (see photo above) was riding with me, as his Voodoo Chile TJ was in the shop getting mods. done. Tim helped me out getting the group of 20 vehicles together and signed up.
