Here I am approaching the bottom of the Launchng Pad.

It's fun to watch from this side and see what's inside the Jeep climbing the hill. It takes good low gears to climb it easily. My 4.11's got me almost to the top before I hit the lockers and gassed it just a little bit.

Once through the Golden Spike entrance, our next obstacle is the Launching Pad.

It's a pretty steep ascent!

Good gearing is essential if you want to come back down and across without using brakes.
