Moab
is full of huge, steep slickrock climbs that seem to go forever.
Here's
the fun stuff. Here's me (TXJEEPER) hitting a great crotch on the
Golden Spike trail. Talk about creepy!
If
only it looked as simple here in real life. The down hill slope is
actually off to the left of the Jeep! In the air and off-camber,
too!
Steve
thought it looked like fun, too, so up he went.

They
are a heck of a lot of fun if you have low gears and can idle up
them. Try that on something other than slickrock? No way!
Several
Jeeps went around, but mine and Tim's TJs weren't about to skip
the fun.
Keep
going, Tim!
Steve's
4.56 gears kept his 35's moving nice and slowly.
At
the top of one of the rim areas, there's a great overlook of the
Moab area. Here's Rick Jones. Dont' show this to his mom and don't
tell her that it's over 1,000 ft. down to the road! |
