Team General Tire Signs Short Course Sensation Greg Adler

Fort Mill, SC – March 4, 2010 – Team General Tire has added Greg Adler Motorsports to its growing roster of short-course drivers in the Lucas Oil Off-Road Racing Series.  Adler will compete in the Unlimited 2 class in both Lucas and select TORC series races, and joins Lucas Oil Off Road Racing champion Carl Renezeder, along with Carey Hart and Robby Woods, to provide short course fans with some heart-stopping racing excitement and certain podium finishes for the 2010 season.

“This is a banner day for Team General Tire,” said Travis Roffler, director of marketing.  “With the addition of Greg to the team, we’re definitely upping the ante in performance and competition for the 2010 season.  Greg took 3rd Place in the Unlimited 2 Points championship in the Lucas Oil Series for 2009, and we are expecting great things from him competing on the Grabber SC this year.”

Adler, the president and CEO of 4 Wheel Parts, started his racing career in Baja, California driving limited buggies in the SCORE series. After several years, he jumped into the full-size truck category driving powerful, 800-horsepower Class 8 trucks.  He entered his first short-course race in 2004 at Crandon International Raceway.  In 2006, Greg completed his first season in the Sportsman division and capped his rookie year with his first win at Chula Vista International Speedway.

In 2007, he made the move to the ultra competitive Pro-2 class. Competing against off-road racing’s most skilled drivers, Greg proved his talent with several podium finishes. Now racing in the Lucas Oil Off-Road Series and Traxxas Off-Road Championship series (TORC), running up front is business as usual for Greg and his 4 Wheel Parts machine.
