  • 4th Annual Surplus City Spring Mud & Crawl This Weekend

    OROVILLE, CA APRIL 19, 2010: The Urban Assault OHV area will be active this weekend for the 4th Annual Surplus City Spring Mud & Crawl. This event is open to all levels of competitors, from no prior experience to the pros in the unlimited class. “We have great events that are full of different level competitors which makes the racing action even more entertaining. The new guys always just go for it, and the pros make the hardest obstacle look simple,” said race promoter Bob Frank.   • CalROCS Announces 2010 4×4 Rock Crawling Competition Season Schedule

    EL DORADO, CA    APRIL 15, 2010:  CalROCS announces the 2010 schedule consisting of four events with two-day competitions for five classes.   The May and June events will be held in Reno, Nevada, and the July and August events will be at Donner Ski Ranch in the Sierra Nevada Mountain of California.  Reno has some of the most awesome courses the rock crawling world has ever seen, and Donner Ski Ranch is known as the crown jewel of rock crawling in the Northwest with its natural beauty and great atmosphere.   • Octane Fest Throws Big Rocks for CalROCS Rock Crawl and Tuff-Cup Pro Arena Rock Race

    FALLON, NV    APRIL 14, 2010: Octane Fest will be throwing big rocks on the ground for extreme CalROCS Rock Crawling and Tuff-Cup Pro Arena Rock Racing at the Fallon, NV fairgrounds arena June 10-13, 2010.  The weekend will also be packed with SuperLite Trucks, Mud Drags, Monster Ride trucks, Tuff-Cross (Arena Enduro Racing), Motocross, Tuff-Truck, Top Gun Raceway Lucas Oils NHRA Drag Racing and Rattlesnake Raceway Dirt Track IMCA Modified races.

    The two-day Rock Crawling event will be sanctioned by CalROCS who has a history of producing sophisticated courses for the pros, yet still competitive for the amateur to try their skills and participate.  Glenn Bonner from CalROCS stated “I have been working with Ty on the facility which will give all drivers the ability to have a great weekend of rock crawling.”  There will be plenty of action with the schedule including 3-4 courses per day per class.  This is a non-series points race for the CalROCS competitors.
