  • Letner Racing takes SCORE class 1 championship on King shocks

    King Letner Photo

King Shocks salutes the perseverance and hard charging driving style of Letner Racing’s Kory Halopoff and Harley Letner. They battled tough competitors all year long on their way to winning the 2010 SCORE, unlimited Class 1 championship. In order to win, the Letner Racing team had to overcome adversity and finish the last race of the season, a brutal, Baja 1000 that travelled the length of the peninsula. “Race wins are great, said Harley Letner, but championships are written in the history books.” Letner Racing is no stranger to winning; the family has a history of motorsports excellence that includes land speed racing, stock cars, drag boats, Shortcourse and off-road competition that spans four generations. Letner racing has worked with King Shocks product development engineers since the company was founded, testing the newest designs. They used King’s latest Pure Race, damping technology to tap every ounce of suspension performance out of their class 1 championship winning cars. Everyone at King Shocks is especially proud that they won while decked out in the special King blue paint scheme. Considering the experience gained over decades of racing with the talent of drivers Kory and Harley, Letner racing will no doubt continue their impressive winning ways for years to come.
