TRAIL-GEAR RELEASES ROCK ASSAULT™ 9 AXLE HOUSINGS WITH 3.5-INCH TUBING

rock assaultFresno, CA-Trail-Gear, Inc. is expanding their Rock Assault™ 9 line with the option of 3.5 inch tubes for the Rock Assault™ Axle Housings today (Friday, June 8, 2012). “The increased tube diameter offers hard-core wheelers a little more strength and resistance to bending when taking on those extreme obstacles,” said Matt Messer, Trail-Gear CEO. “The Rock Assault™ 9’s strength and durability has been proven in competition and on the trails. The 3.5-inch tubing just takes it to the next level.”

The Rock Assault™ 9 is available as a complete welded assembly from flange to flange including the Unit Bearing Pockets. It is available in 3 sizes to fit most applications. The Rock Assault™ Axle housing is designed for Wheel Mount Surfaces (WMS) of 60”, 65” and 68”. The assembly also includes the inner housing seals. Housing accepts standard and high pinion differentials. The Rock Assault™ 9 comes backed with Trail-Gear’s No-Questions-Asked Warranty.

Interested parties may purchase the Rock Assault™ 9 Axle Housing with 3.5-inch tubing from any Authorized Trail-Gear Dealer or via the Trail-Gear website www.trail-gear.com. The Rock Assault™ 9 Axle Housing with 3.5-inch tubing retails on the website for between $784 and $1127 depending on choice of ¼” or 3/8” wall thickness and inclusion of 35-spline axle shafts.
