    Leading Manufacturer of Jeep® Parts and Accessories Commits Charitable Donations to Social, Medical and Off-Road Industry Causes

    Suwanee, Ga. (October 31, 2012) – Omix-ADA®, a leading manufacturer of high-quality Jeep®, truck and off-road parts, accessories and floor liners today announced it is celebrating its 20th anniversary by donating $200,000 to a variety of non-profit causes important to Jeep owners and the off-road industry, beginning in 2013.

    Of the $200,000 pledged, $50,000 will be donated to a non-profit organization or cause in honor of Jeep owners. The second $50,000 will be donated to a non-profit organization or cause in honor of Omix-ADA employees and customers. The third $50,000 will be donated to a non-profit or cause in honor of the off-road media, SEMA and other automotive organizations. The remaining $50,000 will be donated to a variety of non-profit organizations and causes selected by Omix-ADA. (more…)

    Innovative Modular Design Now Available for 3.6L V6 Equipped 2012-2013 Jeep Wrangler JK

    Suwanee, Ga. (October 30, 2012) – Following the overwhelming feedback from Jeep® owners online and the success of theRugged Ridge® Modular XHD Snorkel System for 2007-2011 Jeep Wrangler JK 3.8L V6,  Omix-ADA®,  today announced the availability of its new, patent pending Rugged Ridge Modular XHD Snorkel System for two and four-door Jeep Wrangler JK models from 2012-2013 equipped with the 3.6L V6 Pentastar engine.

    The new Modular XHD Snorkel System is available in easily interchangeable high and lowmounts, and relocates the vulnerable stock air intake through an internal duct system justbelow the windshield. This new design provides optimum performance and protection aswell as a great look over existing, more conspicuous options. Installation requires onlyminor modifications to the internal fender flange and avoids the major cutting that other kitsmay require.     Designed with the same rugged construction as ODYSSEY® Extreme Series™ batteries, the new ODYSSEY® Performance Series™ batteries offer equivalent deep cycling capabilities, long service life and high reliability. ODYSSEY®Performance Series™ batteries are designed specifically for consumer applications, which do not require as many cold cranking amps (CCA) and reserve capacity (RC) minutes as ODYSSEY® Extreme Series™ batteries. However, they deliver more deep cycling capabilities for parasitic loads than conventional batteries. ODYSSEY® Performance Series™ batteries are constructed of a market accepted polypropylene case and cover that resists oil, cleaners and gasoline, in the same black and orange color as the ODYSSEY®Extreme Series™ batteries.  (more…)
