Detroit – May 27, 2015 – American Axle & Manufacturing (AAM), a leading manufacturer of axle components, driveshaft components and repair kits for OE vehicles, has announced the availability of a new ball joint kit for some 2500 and 3500 model RAM trucks.
According to AAM engineering manager, Greg Marsh, the front drive axle in the 2500 and 3500 RAM truck changed in the 2013.5 model year. Part of that modification included replacing the ball joints.
AAM’s new ball joint kit for 2013.5 and newer 2500 and 3500 RAM trucks with a front 9.25” beam axle includes the upper and lower ball joint, ball joint seal, nuts, and wheel hub bolts.
Marsh points out that additional changes in the 2500 and 3500 RAM truck models include the ring and pinion gears, differential cases and other internal components. AAM will soon make these items available for purchase.
AAM parts are of the same quality many shops have come to demand when installing replacement parts. AAM parts fit right, install right and perform right the first time. For more information and to find a local distributor, visit www.demandaam.com, phone 313-758-4176, or email email@example.com.
