Bell then handed the bike off to reigning Vegas to Reno champion Shane Esposito, who moved the THR Motorsports / Bonanza Plumbing team into second place by Race Mile 190 when one of the main competitors ran out of fuel. Terrible Herbst Motor Sports Overcomes All Obstacles For Top Ten Baja 1000 Finish
“When you are racing in Baja anything can happen,” Troy Herbst explained. “That is part of the appeal, but it sure makes it tough to plan ahead.” Troy’s No. 49 Terrible Herbst Motor Sports Ford was at the starting line for the Tecate SCORE Baja 1000 when word came across the radio that a semi truck was blocking the course and the marquee Trophy Truck field would restart at Race Mile 5. Sheldon Creed: The Future Of Off Road Racing Is Now
A mere fourteen years old, Sheldon Creed has experienced more Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series (LOORRS) victories than birthdays. The three-time Kart champion took home his 17th short course win last weekend at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway, this time in the ultracompetitive Super Lite class. It has hard to believe that Creed’s first time racing in the Super Lite spec class was in September at Speedworld, where he reached the podium in a field of 14 trucks just a week before his fourteenth birthday. Corey Sisler Heads To Texas For TORC PRO Light Unlimited Rodeo
When word spread that Traxxas’ The Off Road Championship (TORC) was going to hold an all-out, no-holds-barred PRO Light race at the end of the season with over $20,000 in prize money, it got Corey Sisler’s attention. Sisler has a reputation for putting the No. 19 AEM Performance Electronics Ford in contention for the win at every race, so his chance to bring home some cash from the PRO Light Cup are very good. “TORC was very accommodating,” Corey revealed. “I have proven I can hang with Deegan and Brandt and I want to see what the TORC guys like Caddell and Hubbinette have for me. Corey Sisler Heats Up Speedworld In Pro Lite Unlimited
Earlier this season during the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series (LOORRS) first visit to Speedworld Off Road Park, short course phenom Corey Sisler wowed the crowd by crossing the finish line on fire to reach the podium in Pro Lite Unlimited. In last weekend’s return to Speedworld, the grandstands were on fire as the crowd braved triple-digit heat in order to watch short course racing’s fastest racers. Sisler got off to a great start, second quickest out of twelve racers on Friday’s practice with the newly applied AEM Performance Electronics logos gracing the side of his No. 19 Pro Lite Unlimited truck.
