JOHNSON VALLEY, CA MARCH 31st, 2017: Hammerking Productions is pleased to announce the dates for the 2018 King of The Hammers. The week-long off-road race and festival will commence on February 2nd, 2018 with the opening of Hammertown in Johnson Valley, CA followed by a week of off-road racing. The event culminates with the 12th annual King of The Hammers race on Friday, February 9th, 2018. Ladies Offroad Network Socials and Experiences at King of the Hammers a Success
MESA, AZ February 15, 2017: Everyday from 9-11am the Ladies of Hammertown gathered at the 4 Wheel Parts booth for a Ladies Offroad Social with coffee, cocoa, tea, water and snacks for a casual environment to talk and get to know each other. In addition to the daily socials, there were two hands-on experiences that ladies could participate in. On Tuesday afternoon over 60 Ladies gathered to try their hand at welding at the Ladies Offroad Welding Experiencehosted by ESAB Welding & Cutting, and on Wednesday Ladies gathered at the BFGoodrich Tires Garage for the Ladies Offroad Tire & Winch Experience to learn how to change a tire from Brad Lovell and work a winch line with WARN. At each event the ladies were entered into immediate drawings including I’m Not Just a Girl shirts, ESAB Welding Helmets, BFGoodrich Tires Gloves and more. They were also entered into the week-long drawing for the Black Forest Gear $649 Fridge/Freezer and Kicker $199 Amphitheater. (more…)

As the sun painted the clouds with red and orange over Hammertown, the 11thannual Nitto King of the Hammers powered by Optima Batteries came to life with the low rumble of V8 engines. Race cars had to be staged by 6:30am for an 8:00am start. Pit crews scattered to one of three remote pits along race course as the cars lined up in staging areas. Drivers chatted and joked about the adventure that was about to commence as their navigators ensured the race course and notes were on their navigation systems. (more…)

MESA, AZ January 30, 2017: BFGoodrich Tires™ and Ladies Offroad Network have partnered to host a hands-on Ladies Offroad Tire Experience at King of the Hammers on Wednesday February 8th from 1-3pm at the BFGoodrich Tires Garage. Ladies will have the opportunity to use a jack, impact wrench, star and other tools to learn how to properly change a tire. We will be changing the tires on Frankie, the Jeep Charlene Bower used in the Ladies Co-Driver Challenge Trail of Missions and Rebelle Rally events. The first 50 ladies in attendance will receive a special gift from BFGoodrich Tires and everyone that attends will be entered to win a Bag of BFGoodrich Goodies and more. (more…)

MESA, AZ January 27, 2017: ESAB Welding & Cutting, the official welding sponsor of Ultra4 and 2017 Nitto King of the Hammers, LetzRoll Offroad and Ladies Offroad Network have partnered to host a hands-on Ladies Offroad Welding Experience at King of the Hammers on Tuesday February 7th from 1-3pm at the ESAB Welding Booth on Griffin Expressway. Ladies will be able to put on a welding helmet, gloves and jacket, and then get instructions on how to weld.
