THR Motorsports Baja 1000 Dream Team Makes The Competition GREEN With Envy
Did you hear that? The winds of change are in the air as THR Motorsports and Bonanza Plumbing have assembled a motorcycle juggernaut to usher in a new era at the Baja 1000. THR owners Scott Jacobson and Rob Sims have teamed with Precision Concepts and Purvines Racing to assemble a dream team of motorcycle riders atop a green Kawasaki KX450F and fueled by Monster Energy. Combining youth and experience, the five rider all-star team includes; Shane Esposito, Robby Bell, Bobby Garrison, Steve Hengeveld and David Pearson. These five talented riders have a combined 15 Baja wins between them. The Kawasaki KX450F prepared by Bob Bell of Precision Concepts. For those unfamiliar with the Precision Concepts name, they have numerous Baja wins to their credit and are always working towards that next big win. (more…) -
Chris Brandt Leaves Las Vegas with Two Podium Finishes
Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Third and Second Place Finishes
COUNCIL BLUFFS, IA NOVEMBER 11, 2011 – Chris Brandt #82 BFGoodrich / Toyota Pro Lite Unlimited Truck boldly and proudly wore the Huseman memorial graphic at the Las Vegas Lucas Oil Off Road Race rounds 13 & 14. Leading the points all season, Brandt finished a respectable 3rd after starting in 17th on Saturday. Sunday’s 2ndplace finish came after an intense battle with Brian Deegan at the front of the pack which put him on the podium for the 12th time this season. “I am disappointed in the second place finish on Sunday. We were battling the whole race and I kept pushing in for the lead,” said Chris Brandt. “We have one more race in December to determine the series champion. With only 3 points separating Deegan and I, you know it will be the must see race of the season!” (more…) -
General Tire’s Carl Renezeder Charts 97th Win at LOORRS Round 14 and Josh Merrell Takes the Podium in Round 13
Fort Mill, S.C. (Nov. 10, 2011) – Carl Renezeder hit an incredible 97 wins Sunday at the Lucas Oil Off-Road Racing Series (LOORRS) Round 14 in Pro 4, securing his spot as number one, leading points for Pro 4.While the mood was somber at LOORRS Rounds 13 and 14 following the tragic death of competitor Rick Huseman, teams took time to remember the world-class racer and gave the fans all they could in remembrance of him. Team GT’s Robby Woods honored Huseman by painting his once blue truck green and adorning it with dozens of memorial stickers. Josh Merrell, also of Team GT, donated 2,000 commemorative shirts with proceeds going entirely to the Huseman family. (more…)

Kyle LeDuc Makes It Three Of A Kind In Front Of A Full House In Las Vegas
Chaplain Steve Hanson offered a somber prayer for Rick and Jeff Huseman to open the ceremonies for the latest Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series (LOORRS) race at Las Vegas Motor Speedway last weekend. The Husemans and their friend Danny Hicks died in a plane crash just three weeks prior to the race, taking away one of LeDuc Racing’s closest competitors on the track. Kevin Huseman led the Pro4 Unlimited field around the parade lap in the No. 36 truck to pay the final respect to his lost brothers. (more…) -
Rob MacCachren Puts ROCKSTAR Energy Drink Atop The Podium Once Again
The latest Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series (LOORRS) short course action took place at Las Vegas Motor Speedway last weekend as the race community paid their final respects to Pro4 Unlimited competitor Rick Huseman. Huseman’s life was cut short three weeks ago in a small plane crash that also took his brother Jeff and friend Danny Hicks. Many teams were running No. 36 stickers on their trucks to honor Huseman, including reigning Pro2 Unlimited champion Rob MacCachren. (more…)
