    September 29, 2011 – Pomona, CA:  Griffin Radiator , the title sponsor of every King of The Hammers race to date, has donated their 2012 Griffin King of the Hammers qualifying spot to a silent auction taking place at the Off Road Motorsports Hall of Fame induction ceremony on Friday, October 7th at the Pomona fairplex.   • W.E. Rock Grand National Champions Brent Bradshaw, Troy Bailey and Duane Garretson Titled

    PLACERVILLE, CA   SEPTEMBER 28, 2010:  After two days of intense W.E. Rock crawling where the lead changed more times than can be counted, the final scores crowned Brent Bradshaw the Unlimited Class National Champion, Troy Bailey the Pro Modified National Champion and Duane Garretson the Stock Class Champion.   The W.E. Rock Grand National Championships were held at the Miller Motorsports Park in Tooele, UT where the East Coast competitors met the West Coast competitors to determine the National Champion at the season finale.  “The Grand Nationals is always the one of the best events of the year where all the competitors come together and put their battles on the rocks,” said Rich Klein, W.E. Rock promoter.  “There were so many lead changes it made it exciting for everyone watching and involved, each course had to be executed perfectly to take the win.”

  • MAKITA-BACKED OFF ROAD DRIVERS DOMINATE IN THE ARIZONA HEAT

    SEPTEMBER 28, 2011 – La Mirada, CA – The Lucas Oil Off-Road Racing Series got back underway this past weekend at Speed World Off Road Park in Surprise, AZ! It marked rounds 11 and 12 of the 15 round series and the racing on the track was intense. The resilient Arizona fans once again packed the stands despite the high temperatures and unabated sun, and they were treated to a full day of thrilling races with Makita backed drivers claiming victories in multiple classes.   • Lucas Oil Pomona Off-Road Expo 2011 Best Prepared Trail Rig Club Challenge

    Seven (7) 4×4 or UTV teams will get to compete for a chance to be famous and win prizes at the Pomona Off Road Expo, while supporting landuse and helping to keep trails open.  This fun contest is open to the public and any and all  clubs are encouraged to apply.  On Sunday 10/9 at 11am, the seven selected teams/clubs will present their BEST PREPARED/SETUP trail rig to the crowd of cheering fans for a most unusual contest of preparation and preparedness!  (more…)

  • ROCKSTAR Energy Drink / Makita Tools Team LeDuc Racing On Fire At Speedworld

    Todd LeDuc shed some weight during Saturday's Pro4 Unlimited race
    The last time the LeDuc team visited Speedworld the course was not kind to them, particularly the brutal stutter bumps.  While the latest weekend of the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series (LOORRS) was not free of carnage for the LeDucs, they were rewarded for their never-say-die attitude.  Fans braved triple digit temperatures to see Kyle LeDuc qualify first on Friday, with his father Curt qualifying fifth in the No. 43 Makita Tools / Truxxx Lift and Level Ford.   Todd LeDuc tossed a driveshaft in practice, which forced him to start at the back of the pack for Saturday’s main event.  (more…)
