  • Corey Sisler Heats Up Speedworld In Pro Lite Unlimited

    Corey Sisler was flying high at Speedworld

     Earlier this season during the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series (LOORRS) first visit to Speedworld Off Road Park, short course phenom Corey Sisler wowed the crowd by crossing the finish line on fire to reach the podium in Pro Lite Unlimited.  In last weekend’s return to Speedworld, the grandstands were on fire as the crowd braved triple-digit heat in order to watch short course racing’s fastest racers.  Sisler got off to a great start, second quickest out of twelve racers on Friday’s practice with the newly applied AEM Performance Electronics logos gracing the side of his No. 19 Pro Lite Unlimited truck.  (more…)
  • ROCKSTAR Energy Drink’s Rob MacCachren Dominates At Speedworld Once Again

    Rob Mac puts it up on two wheelsROCKSTAR Energy Drink’s Rob MacCachren put on a driving clinic during the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series (LOORRS) first stop at Speedworld Off Road Park in Surprise, Arizona earlier this year.  Since that time, the reigning Pro2 Unlimited champion has experienced his share of ups and downs, and was looking to regain the dominance he is famous for with the return to Surprise last weekend.  The ROCKSTAR Energy Drink was flowing as thirsty fans overcame the triple digit heat at Speedworld to watch MacCachren qualify third last Friday, which put him on the first row for Saturday’s main event.
  • W.E. Rock Eastern Pro National Season Titles Bill Barton, Danny Rohrer and Duane Garretson Class Champions

    PLACERVILLE, CA   SEPTEMBER 19, 2010:  The Eastern Pro National Series came to an exciting close in Dayton Tennessee with over 2000 spectators in attendance! Congratulations to the Champions Bill Barton in the Unlimited Class, Danny Rohrer in the Pro Modified Class and Duane Garretson in the Modified Stock Class.  The Pro Modified Class had points battles to the end that made every obstacle important for all six competitors going for the title.  The Champions will be presented at the W.E. Rock Grand National Championship, where the East meets the West drivers, at Miller Motorsports Park September 24th and 25th. (more…)

  • Oberg Looks Strong Early @ Chicagoland/Rt. 66 Raceway

    Eagle River, WI (September 20, 2011) – After a great second place finish during Round 10 at Crandon, Mike Oberg and his #80 AMSOIL BFGoodrich Tires Chevy were looking for continued success at The Dirt Track at Route 66 Raceway in Joliet, Illinois. With only ten days to prepare for the midweek event, Oberg Motorsports brought both of his PRO-2WD trucks ensure nothing could prevent the team from competing in both rounds of racing.   • Sacalas Succumbs at Stampede but Vows Revenge at Glen Helen

    September 19, 2011–Reno, NV: Team GenRight’s Kevin Sacalas proved fast during Friday’s qualifying rounds at the 2011 Ultra4 Torchmate Stampede. Even with an engine misfire, Sacalas was able to claim the 4th fastest qualifying time of the day putting him in the front of the pack for the main race. Only current King Shannon Campbell, former King Jason Scherer and eventual Stampede winner, JT Taylor had faster times than Kevin Sacalas in his vehicle affectionately referred to as “Big Ugly.”
