  • JT Taylor Takes 5th in XORRA US National Points

    COLORADO SPRINGS, CO     AUGUST 13, 2010   JT Taylor finished 4th in last weekends XORRA race in Cortez, CO which put him 5th overall in the US National Points.  With two great rounds of racing on Saturday and Sunday, his consistency paid off and is now heading to Lands End Hill Climb to participate in the Ultra4 Grand Slam of Offroad Series.   • W.E. Rock Western Pro Nationals Crawls to an Exciting Ending

    PLACERVILLE, CA   AUGUST 3, 2010:  The W.E. Rock Western Pro National Final held at the Miller Motorsports Park in Salt Lake City, UT finished the season with a different winner in both the Unlimited and Pro Modified classes for the fourth competition in a row.  There were several battles over the course of two days fighting to be the winner in each class of this final race of the series.

    Both the Unlimited and the Pro Modified class had top three place battles going all weekend.  In the Unlimited class, it came down to the shootout where Dion Wakefield from Canada proved to be a huge threat by taking first place. Brent Bradshaw was hot on his tail with a close 2nd place finish, and Matt Messer finished 3rd.  In the Pro Modified class, Jesse Haines claimed the win over Nick Campbell, taking it down to the wire and winning the points lead with his shootout score. Troy Bailey took third in the class rounding out yet another amazing competition.  “Every single event in the W.E. Rock Western series has been won by someone different in the Unlimited and Pro Modified classes,” said Rich Klein, W.E. Rock Promoter.  The Unlimited winners have been Tracy Jordan, Brent Bradshaw, Matt Messer, and Dion Wakefield.  The Pro Modified winners were Troy Bailey, Brad Lovell, Nick Campbell and Jesse Haines.   • Raceline Wheels Dominates Two Northern Nevada Events

    GARDEN GROVE, CA    JULY 27, 2010:  Chris Ridgway took the checkered flag at Octane Fest, and Kevin Yoder placed first in the Ultra4 class of the Xtreme Outlaw 250 race.

    Chris Ridgway battled against JT Taylor, Mike Turner and Jesse Haines at the 2010 Octane Fest TUFF-CUP Pro Arena Rock Racing on a GP style track with strategically placed tires and logs as obstacles.  All four rock racers were sporting the Monster Raceline Wheels.  JT Taylor qualified with the fastest time, which put him on the pole position and Ridgway next to him.  JT Taylor took the hole shot, but in the third and final lap of the main event, Ridgway cut to the inside and passed JT Taylor in the corner just before they got to the set of tires.  Ridgway confirmed the lead hopping over the tires and the logs first.  “It was a clean pass, and a lot of fun racing on this style track,” said JT Taylor.   • W.E. Rock Western Pro Nationals Puts First Tread Marks on Miller Motorsports Park Rock Courses

    PLACERVILLE, CA   JULY 22, 2010:  Miller Motorsports Park will host the final round of the TeraFlex / Tuff Country Western Championship Series Friday night July 30th and Saturday night July 31st.   Fifty teams have committed to putting tread marks down at this first ever event under the lights at the brand new facility.  Hundreds of tickets have already been sold, making this already one of the largest events on the West Coast.   • Chris Ridgway Misses Win by 34 Seconds at VORRA Desert Race

    He Prepares for 2010 X-Games as Reigning Gold Medalist

    APPLE VALLEY, CA – July 21, 2010:  Chris Ridgway participated in last weekends VORRA (Valley Off Road Racing Association) Fallon 250 desert race in the Trent Fab buggy and placed 2nd by a mere 34 seconds.  “It was a fast course, and we had no issues until the last lap when we got a flat.  When we got out to change it, we had lost the tool kit that had the lug wrench in it!  We jumped back in and had to run 20 miles on the Raceline Wheel to the next pit where one of our competitor’s pit crews changed it for us,” said Ridgway.  “While in the pits, we got passed for the lead and had to drive the last 10 miles at warp speed, but it wasn’t enough.” (more…)
