  • MasterCraft Safety Rolls $10,000 Cash Contingency Over To Tecate SCORE Baja 500

    Racers and fans alike recognized that MasterCraft Safety was the title sponsor for the 2010 MasterCraft Safety Tecate SCORE San Felipe 250. Most also knew that MasterCraft Racing campaigned three SCORE Trophy-Trucks in San Felipe. Unfortunately, not as many racers realized that MasterCraft Safety was offering up $10,000 in contingency money, or what was required to qualify for the contingency funds. “There are racers in every class running our products, that is not the problem” commented MasterCraft Safety CEO, Robbie Pierce. “Unfortunately not everyone ran the signage required to qualify.” Fortunately for SCORE racers, Pierce has decided to roll the contingency money over to the 42nd Annual Tecate SCORE Baja 500 on June 4 – 6.   • MAKITA GOES FOR THIRD STRAIGHT YEAR WITH LEDUC RACING

    Rockstar/Makita LeDuc Racing looks forward to another strong season in 2010

    MARCH 22, 2010 – La Mirada, Calif. – Makita Industrial Power Tools and LeDuc Racing have agreed to a third straight year of partnership in short course off-road racing. Makita joins Rockstar Energy as primary cosponsors of Rockstar Makita LeDuc Racing.

    Rockstar Makita Racing ended the 2009 season with a strong finish, and the team is looking forward to carrying the winning momentum and partnership into 2010. (more…)

  • MasterCraft Racing Puts Three Trucks in Top 10 at MasterCraft Safety Tecate SCORE San Felipe 250

    It is hard to deny the existence of the Buddhist philosophy of karma after the recent MasterCraft Safety Tecate SCORE San Felipe 250. In addition to being the title sponsor of the race, Robbie Pierce and MasterCraft Safety offered up $10,000 in contingency money for the race. For all of Pierce’s generosity, combined with a healthy dose of hard work, the MasterCraft Racing team was rewarded with three trucks in the top ten of SCORE’s premiere Trophy-Truck class. Will Staats finished in 9th place, Rob MacCachren finished in 8th, and MasterCraft Safety CEO Robbie Pierce placed fourth in San Felipe, his highest finish ever in SCORE’s preeminent class. (more…)

  • Joe Bacal Seals Victory in San Felipe 250

    SAN FELIPE, Mexico, March 16, 2010 – The seemingly unbreakable combination of Joe Bacal and his Cancer Treatment Centers of America Lexus LX 570 took its second Stock Full class victory* in as many races on Sunday at the 24th Annual MasterCraft Safety Tecate SCORE San Felipe 250 in Mexico.  Despite drawing the last starting time in the Stock Full class, Bacal caught 2009 class champion Justin Matney early in the race, dicing with him for about 15 miles before taking the lead to the finish.   • 2010 VORRA Series Kicks Off This Weekend at Prairie City

    RENO, NV   MARCH 15, 2010:   The opening round of the 2010 VORRA series is this weekend March 20-21, 2010 at Prairie City, CA.  VORRA, the only organization to offer both short course and desert racing, kicks off its seven round series with a short course battle at the Prairie City OHV Park in Folsom, California.  “We are excited to start another season with a lot of new faces coming to the start line, along with several that have been with the series since its inception,” said Wes Harbor the series promoter.   • VORRA Series Adds Ultra4 Class with 2011 King of the Hammers Qualifying Spot

    RENO, NV,   MARCH 5, 2010:   VORRA Series Promoter Wes Harbor is proud to announce the addition of an Ultra4 Class to the well known west coast series.
