    ULTRA4s are heading Back to Arkansas!

    The Hot Springs ORV Park is a favorite among fans and drivers who love challenging rock sections. Seveal drivers have commented on the fact that Arkansas is the most “KOH” like of any of the rocks we see throughout the season!  Drivers should expect a tough course that is approximately 7 miles long! We will have limited and 4400s running together with UTVs running a separate morning race.

    33 Finalists Announced for Ladies Co-Driver Challenge

    Final 8 to be Announced at Jeep Beach Ladies Meet & Greet

    MESA, AZ   APRIL 18, 2015: After a social media Vote of Confidence process, the 30 ladies with the highest amount of likes and comments were selected to be the finalists for the Ladies Co-Driver Challenge.   In addition to the top 30 girls, 3 “wild card” spots were chosen at random from the rest of the 61 entries. All ladies are working to earn a co-driver spot with Charlene Bower at three separate off-road events happening this year with BFGoodrich® Tires. The 30 semi-finalists were announced via a Facebook Live Stream, then Charlene randomly selected the 3 additional spots live.   All finalists are listed below. (more…)

    Off-road racing legend Rod tackles Baja for his 50th 1,000-mile peninsula run

    There are only a handful of names in off-road racing that merit the title of Living Legend. Though the criteria may vary depending on which campfire debate you eavesdrop on, everyone seems to agree that those whom have been playing in the dirt for 50 years qualify; even raised to near deity status. Back in 1967, Rod Hall, a young gas station owner and four-wheel drive enthusiast, heard about a new event while Jeeping with friend Larry Minor at Pismo Dunes, California. It wasn’t the normal gymkhana that he’d done before, but a 1,000-mile desert adventure in a land with no maps, few petrol sources, and even fewer towns. The two pooled their funds, bought a stock Jeep CJ-5, and mailed in a registration form for the National Off-Road Racing Association’s (NORRA) Mexican 1000. (more…)
