    National Rampage Dirt Riot flierBLACKFOOT, ID   SEPTEMBER 24, 2014:   The Tribe 4×4 & Texas Custom Trailers Dirt Riot National Rampage comes to Bridgeport Texas Northwest OHV Park this weekend.  With over 100 drivers expected onsite, this will be one of the biggest events of the 14 Dirt Riot races this year.  “Drivers have had to qualify to race in this end-of-year spectacular event,” explained Rich Klein, President and founder of W.E. Rock Events.  “Our 5 series, composed of 3 races each, have already finished and each series has a winner.  This weekend, all the racers from each series come head-to-head and race for the National Title.  In addition to a cash purse, the winner of the 4400 Pro 4×4 race will get an entry spot into the 2015 Griffin King of the Hammers.”

    2GLEN HELEN, CA – JULY 12th, 2014: Over 115 race teams descended upon Glen Helen Raceway the weekend of July 11th for the 4th annual 4 Wheel Parts Glen Helen Grand Prix.  With nearly triple the car count of the inaugural 2011 race, the competition was fast and fierce for all classes. However, one driver stayed at the front of the pack all weekend and that was the current King, Loren Healy. Healy couldn’t get too far in front though, as Levi Shirley was close on his tail at every turn. (more…)

    1TOOELE, UT – AUGUST 23rd, 2014: More than 90 teams registered for the Discount Tire American Rocksports Challenge at Miller Motorsports Park. With double the car count from 2013, the racing was some of the tightest and most intense of the 2014 ULTRA4 season to date. After a fierce battle in the main among 4 former Kings; Campbell, Healy, Scherer and Miller, it was Healy who climbed to the top of the podium for his 2nd consecutive ULTRA4 win. Fellow Nitto Tire drivers, Jason Scherer and Erik Miller took 2nd and 3rd place respectively for a Nitto Tire podium sweep at the Trail-Gear  ULTRA4 Western Regional finale. (more…)

    Race Prep Racing Takes the Checkered Flag At Glen Helen Grand Prix

    Richie Carter Win GH 7-12-14_800x600GLEN HELEN RACEWAY, CA – July 12, 2014   In their first Western Regional Race of 2014 and their first regional race in the newly created Ultra4 Legends Class, Race Prep Racing outlasted the other Legends teams and took the checkered flag for the win on July 12, 2014.  Richie Carter, driver of the 4474 Legends Class car, credits perseverance and hard work for the team’s success.

    The pit crew battled fueling issues all weekend still managing to put down good lap times during the preliminary heats when it counted.  Though the final wasn’t pretty – the car sputtered and popped during most of the race – this is endurance racing and the car, driver, and crew worked for 90 minutes keeping the car moving and the lap times consistent.  In the end, Race Prep Racing put down two more laps than its closest competitor and took the win in their class.
