GARDEN GROVE, CA – February 13, 2014 – Year after year, the King of the Hammers (KOH) off road desert racing hybrid event has proven to be most challenging for both man and machine to conquer. The Men (and women) are bold competitors who choose to take on the punishing endurance race hoping to claim victory in one of the sports highest honors. Among the major events of the week Raceline Wheels co-sponsored the newest challenge: King Shocks Shootout at Backdoor, hosted the best ever Volunteer dinner on Thursday night, saw over half of the field of racers start on Raceline Wheels and had fun clocking 101mph in the Raceline BFGoodrich Teraflex Jeep as it rolled 10,000 miles. Clackamas, OR (2/14/14) — Warn Industries winches are clearly the winch of choice for the top performers at the 2014 Griffin King of the Hammers presented by Nitto Tires. A total of $2900 will be paid out to the winners of Friday’s Griffin King of the Hammers race, Thursday’s Smittybilt Every Man Challenge race and Wednesday’s UTV race.“I have always run WARN and have never run anything else. I probably own 10 of them between all my different cars,” said Loren Healy, the current 2014 King.

Four Corners 4×4 Completes 2014 Every Man Challenge
DURANGO, CO – Jason Kaminsky and Richard Jenkins with Four Corners 4×4 recently returned from their participation in the Smittybilt Every Man Challenge Ultra4 Stock Class endurance race held on February 6th. The event took place at the Johnson Valley OHV Area in California’s Mojave Desert. After a random 6 draw started Kaminsky and Jenkins at the rear of the field in 22nd position, they maneuvered through the pack to finish 10th in an elapsed time of 8 hours 59 minutes. Due to the difficulty of the course, fewer than half of the racers completed the course in the allotted time limit of ten hours. Declared as the hardest one-day off road endurance race in the world, the course consisted of approximately 120 miles of high-speed desert segments across sand washes, washboard roads, dry lakebeds and 11 of the country’s most challenging rock crawling trails. BFGoodrich® Tires Driver Randy Slawson Wins Backdoor Shoot Out
GREENVILLE, SC (Feb 3, 2014) – BFGoodrich® Tires driver Randy Slawson, owner of Bomber Fabrication and the 2013 King of the Hammers, won the King Shocks Backdoor Shoot Out on Monday night utilizing the sticky compound of the new Baja T/A KR2. Second place Cody Waggner, also running BFGoodrich Baja T/A Krawlers, took second with only a half of second separating the two.
