FOX’s off-road racers swept all four pro class championships in the TORC series, and took home two in LOORRS.

Bacal Solos the 1,122-Mile Race Distance Virtually Trouble Free
LA PAZ, Mexico (November 21, 2012) – For the second time in three racing seasons, Joe Bacal drove his Lexus LX 570 to the Stock Full-class victory over the punishing 1,122-mile “peninsula” course in the 45th Tecate SCORE Baja 1000 on Saturday. But his 2012 triumph was much different than the 2010 edition which also ran the long route from Ensenada to La Paz; This time Bacal drove every mile of the event and his Lexus ran perfect the entire race distance, not even requiring a tire change.Taking the lead from the start, Bacal held off his challengers until a rough section through San Felipe where he drove conservatively to preserve his truck for the longer run. 2012 Ultra4 Series Trophies Awarded in Blackwell
November 10th, 2012 – Blackwell, TX: Less than 100 points separated the top 4 Ultra4 drivers going into last weekend’s PSC Brawl in Blackwell race; the series finale in the 2012 Ultra4 Nitto Tire National Championship series. 28 year old Ultra4 driver, Nick Nelson from Las Vegas, NV was the series points leader going into the race. With a win at the 2012 4 Wheel Parts Glen Helen Grand Prix and a top 10 finish at the Ultra4 Cinco de Baja earlier in the season, Nelson was the man to beat in Texas. At the end of the 176 mile race, Nelson would secure a 5th place overall finish and would maintain his lead in the 2012 Ultra4 Nitto Tire National Championship Series points by just 51 points over Detroit, MI Ultra4 driver, Mike Colville. Scherer Breaks Through at PSC Brawl in Blackwell
November 10th, 2012 – Blackwell, TX: The Nitto Tire National Championship Series came to a finale last weekend at the PSC Brawl in Blackwell, Texas. The race was held at Texana Ranch and brought together the top 50 Ultra4 drivers from the 4WD Hardware Eastern Regional Series and the Trail-Gear Western Regional Series in a head to head race that had fans on the edge of their seat. The top four finishers completed the 176 miles within 4 minutes of each other with third place Chris Hoyt and fourth place Mike Colville coming in literally nose to tail across the finish line.
