  • Great Weekend of Celebration for 60th Jeepers Jamboree

    GEORGETOWN, CA    AUGUST 2, 2012  –  The 60th Jeepers Jamboree celebration July 26-30, 2012 on the Rubicon Springs had many high points throughout all five days on the historic trail.  The Movies on the Grass, Historical talks, Diamond in the Rough wine tasting supporting the Rubicon Trail Foundation, Raffle, Vendor Show and a Flatfender Show’N’Shine were just the organized events. The camaraderie, food and helpful nature of the Jeepers Jamboree staff and participants tipped the experience to excellent.  “I would like to publicly thank the crews, cooks, rock rollers, mechanics and all the participants for making this the most amazing anniversary celebration yet,” said Bob Sweeney, Jeepers Jamboree Board of Directors.  “I appreciate everyone working with us on the extended stay, it continues to show how big and whole hearted the entire off road family is!” (more…)

    FULLERTON, CA. – (July 13, 2012) – The return of five-time off-road champion Heidi Steele to pro racing after giving birth to her first child is presented in a new video by Yokohama Tire Corporation (YTC).   • Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series Returns This Weekend

    High-flying off-road action, CruiserFest ’12 on tap 

    Lucas OilTOOELE VALLEY, UTAH (June 18, 2012) —One of the wildest events of the year is on tap at Miller Motorsports Park this weekend, June 23-24, as the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series makes its third annual visit to Utah.

    The high-flying, non-stop, adrenaline-fueled action provided by the series’ trucks and buggies has proven to be very popular with Utah fans. There are nine separate racing classes, four for trucks, two for buggies and three for karts (small, truck-bodied off-road buggies). In addition to well-known off-road racing stars like Utah’s Jerry Daugherty, Carl Renezeder, Curt LeDuc and Rob McCachren, the series is enjoying an influx of action sports stars such as motocross legends Jeremy McGrath, Brian Deegan, Jeremy “Twitch” Stenberg and Carey Hart.
